How to Get There
This hotel is huge! There are tons of things to do within the hotel. It's not too far for the airport and attraction, but note that you are no where near a nice beach.
Things are in walking distance - pharmacy, restos, attraction or a short Uber drive away.
Our room, was warn and not as clean as it could have been.
Staff was nice and so was the pool was nice.
I would maybe try another hotel next time as nothing was really that impressive.
As soon as we arrived here, we were welcomed by the bell-boys and were able to check in super early - fantastic as i wasn't sure how we were going to cope with it being our last day in Panama.
Rooms were clean, spacious and had the "hard rock" touch as i've seen in many other hard rock hotels.
Balcony was worth paying extra for as the views over the Amador causeway were great.
Pool area was brilliant too with very attentive staff. Fitness centre was the best i'd seen in a long time and nice to see i could get a protein shake after my workout at the juice bar nearby.
Superb service as always - Keep on rocking..
I will say that the room was nice. The décor of the hotel was cool. The all inclusive package is very limited and often times found that they ran of stuff on the daily especially for drinks. Far as the buffet I could only eat the breakfast, Didn't care much for the lunch or the dinner buffet food was bland. Nightlife at the hotel was limited and didn't occur till the thurs or fri towards our 9 day stay. Music wasn't diverse as most other places. Some of the staff here unless you were of European origin wouldn't be warm to assist you and often ignored or put others before you. I often went to the younger gentlemen to assist me because they had great attitude. For the money you spend to be there staff could be inviting to all and not just to European counterparts. This was definitely disappointed. I also had my Nike jacket stolen and it took a bar maid to get the correct folks to try to do something. They didn't follow up nor did they really investigate. Having a background in security you review tapes, etc no one took statement or wrote anything down. I bet if I was European they would have been a lot more hands on. I wouldn't recommend to this hotel. Only thing I can say is that customer service needs work. Upfront additional deposit told to folks before you come to stay. $400-$500 is a lot to put down. 1 Plus was that they didn't give you phone or room out to folks looking for you.
From the staff (from front desk to maid service) to the room to the restaurants (awesome Christmas Eve dinner!) to the pool, we had the best time the whole 10 nights we stayed! The concierges helped us find a great off site Italian restaurant as well. We did a San Blas Island excursion and had a great time. The staff worked so hard and they are the ones keeping that place such an amazing place! Kudos to the staff! And KUDOS to the harp player on Christmas Eve while we ate. He was great!
They had the BEST breakfast buffet which was included with our room. The pool area was fun and lively on Saturday. They also had a chef BBQing items to order. Parking and valet wasn’t well coordinated but besides that our stay was enjoyed.
