Nice spot in this neck of the woods
Reviewed 4 months ago

This is a nice, modern hotel in the middle of Holland. (There's apparently another one like it in Grand Rapids.)

It was a nice room and nice experience. Liked the shower/bathroom, and the room was pretty spacious. Bed had a slightly odd setup to it, but it was comfortable.

Very nice welcome at check in, with a bar, mini-cafe and coffee spot in the lobby.

Also, free parking in the outdoor lot at the building.

Will definitely stay again.

Classically Modern

We loved staying there. Super clean, new and modern. Design very efficiently but stylish. Took my sister and brothers-in-law to see it and they liked it too. The beds and pillows were very comfy. Reasonably prices but feeling of loft luxury. Also coffee shop and bar right in lobby area.

Our third time and it will be the last

The layout of our room was odd, beds not facing in the same direction and there is no way a person could sit on the couch/chair. You could either sit at the desk chair and watch tv with your husband or sit on opposite beds and watch two different tv's.
The lighting was awful.
We're all for saving the environment, but if you want us to reuse our towel to save water, a towel rack near the sink would be helpful. You still have to stand on your head to shave in the shower.
There used to be a very light continental breakfast served, but not anymore. You can buy breakfast. There was also a restaurant on the top floor that was good and had a nice view, it is no longer there. The top floor is reserved for parties.
We have been here 3 times and always enjoyed our stay. We didn't feel welcome this time, the people at the desk were just there, they weren't happy to see us. We like the modern feeling, but this time our room felt cold and like you didn't want to hang around in it.
Check your bill.
We will look elsewhere next time we're in town.

One little problem

4 60ish women checked into this modern, beautiful and clean hotel. We were very impressed. However when we got to the room there were no electrical outlets near the beds. Two of us use CPAP machines. There are outlets at the counter and desk area but the cords were suspended and the other two ladies would Have had to step over them in the night if they needed to go to the restroom. The young lady at the front desk offered to put us in a different style room but it was only available for one night and we were staying three so that would not solve the problem They didn’t have any extension cords. Luckily the Courtyard down the street had a room available so we booked a room there and checked out of Cityflats. It was unfortunate. We really wanted to stay at Cityflats. I would suggest if you use a CPAP make sure you get a room with electrical outlets by the bed, if they even have them.
