Loved the Hi-Lo Hotel in Portland

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Hi-Lo Hotel in Portland in August 2019. The hotel is kind of funky and youthful, and I mean that in a good way! The lobby has some interesting furniture, including some trendy sectional couches, a cool natural-looking wood picnic table, and a playground swing — you have to see it all for yourself!

The hotel restaurant has recently changed to The Craft PDX and was excellent. We visited during Portland Burger Week, and the burgers, fries, and adult beverages were on point.

The hotel was in a pretty convenient location, and was just a short walk to restaurants, nightspots, and shopping near downtown and the Pearl District.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to provide helpful recommendations and suggestions.

In summary, we would definitely return to the Hi-Lo Hotel in Portland!

Best valet/bellman TOM

This hotel was beautiful and walking distance to many restaurants. But our review is for their Valet. Tom was so personal and truly interested in helping us find the best points of interests and restaurants. Every suggestion he made, was spot on! He also suggested their hotel’s restaurant (which we jokingly teased him it was just a plug for the hotel)BUT it was an awesome burger (Portland Burger Week) Tom was the epitome of customer service!

Nice Hotel

Enjoyed my stay. Room was decent size. Toiletries were high quality. Towels and bedding quite comfortable. Staff was excellent. Good selection of television and streaming options. Good bar and restaurant that was competitively priced with surrounding places. Lots of great dining options nearby though so don't just eat and drink in property. Valet price was high but tons of good self-park options all around.
