The Heathman is an excellent boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Portland. The newly renovated rooms are adequately sized and comfortably appointed. The staff is welcoming, helpful and efficient. The restaurant in the hotel, Headwaters, is renowned Portland Chef Vitaly Paley's seafood house sporting excellent food and drink and a great happy hour. The chocolate shop off the lobby, Azar Indulgences, is a bonus that should not be missed. Portland has a number of good downtown hotels but after our 5 day stay, The Heathman is our new go to. Wonderful experience all around.

Gorgeous hotel, fantastic service, excellent ammenities.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience - the room was great (much larger than we expected in a downtown environment after experience in NYC, SF, and other PDX hotels) and the decorations and designer touches were extremely well done. The food was exceptional and every single person, from the moment we walked in until well after we left, was so friendly, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay downtown.
