Great stay
Reviewed 3 days ago

We stayed at this perfectly located hotel in downtown Portland. It’s in a terrific spot and is also a wonderful hotel. Service was excellent. In particular Preston at front desk who had our room ready when we arrived early and gave us some great suggestions for day trips. Also the service and food in the concierge lounge was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable-typical Marriott standards. Highly recommend.

Terrific location! Ideal for shopping and dining!

We loved this location, it couldn’t have been better. We walked to many of the places we wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly and very responsive to a couple of requests that we had. Hotel was very clean and fairly standard for a full service Marriott, bedding could be upgraded though. Concierge lounge staff was stellar! Definitely will stay here again next time we are in Portland!

Too little time

I'd been on the road for nearly 11 hours and my wife was kind enough to call ahead and book a room for me. The gentleman at check it was very friendly and courteous. The room was outstanding as to be expected. The concierge hostess, Ashley, was beyond helpful and courteous both during evening happy hour and for breakfast the next morning.
I wish I was able to stay longer so I could check out local restaurants, bars, and attractions.

Would stay again

This hotel was in a great location downtown Portland - close to shopping, and restaurants. It was very clean and the rooms were a decent size.

Our group spent some time in the lounge on the second floor to have drinks before we headed out for the night. I think all three nights we were there we had spent some time in the lounge. The bartenders were nice and the drinks were good.

Used the gym for about 40min at one point. Its VERY small but had a decent amount of equipment. One complaint about the gym was that it was extremely hot and stuffy in there. There was only AC blowing near the cardio equipment, but the free weight area had warm air coming out of the vents?

My only real complaint is that you have to pay for WIFI. Honestly the price you are paying for the hotel should include WIFI, I thought that was pretty ridiculous. To add to that, the cell service in our room (11th floor) was SO POOR. We could only find a signal if we stood right next to the window, or went down to the lobby.

Obviously that's not a deal breaker because I would definitely stay there again.

Group of Friends Staying for the Event
Reviewed 1 week ago

Every quarter for the last 5 years, there are hosted events in a few different cites around the world as part of a global community I am a part of. I have been to a few gatherings over the last five years and Portland has been the home to three of them so far. Each time the Portland Marriott City Center has been a gathering place and host to me and my friends. They make us feel welcome and even add to our gathering by creating themed drinks and decorations geared toward our purposes. I absolutely love everything that they do to make us fee special!! 100% will use the hotel for all of our future needs.
