We used to be regulars here. It is now loud and lacking in service. Valet sucks expect a Half hour to get your car, desk service is lack luster. Many other choices in Portland at this price with better service.

Reliable boutique hotel in convenient location

Small, intimate lobby with coffee/tea service in the AM and wine in the PM. My room was small-ish but well-appointed with mini-bar, plenty of outlets and toiletries. My biggest complaint was that everything was so dark. Dark colored carpet, dark paint on the walls and a dark wood headboard add up to feel a little oppressive and make good lighting imperative. And maybe the wine theme feels... overplayed?

Best hotel in Portland

My wife and I stayed at the Vintage over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were treated like royalty. The front desk staff (Rebekah& Robert) were polite and welcoming, they made us feel like we were at home. The valet staff was great; Conn the supervisor was awesome as well as the rest of his wonderful staff (Brendan, sir Thomas, Eric, Wes, Steven). Between the bellmen and the front desk we were already so spoiled but Randy in housekeeping made sure our room was gorgeous for the duration of our stay. The bar was also a treat to sit and drink at. Brian knows how to make a drink and make you laugh.

There are a ton a good hotels in Portland but this one is great!!!

I want to live at the Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland!

Seriously our favorite boutique hotel EVER! The lobby (aka "living room") is literally so inviting and comfortable, we made a point to return to the hotel every late afternoon to enjoy each others company and relax. The staff was more than exceptional. The decor was incredibly well thought out. The attention to detail makes it easy to recognize that the owners/managers care about their work and our comfort. We did not eat at the attached restaurant. Really cannot thank the staff enough for a great family vacation! Would return tomorrow if we could!

Outstanding Decor, Fantastic Location

Everywhere you look in the Hotel Vintage, there is an arresting lamp or art piece or chair. It looks like someone took a lot of time to really pick cool decor items to delight your eye. I loved my spacious room (again with really cool art and lamps), and the staff from the front door to the front desk could not have been more accommodating. Plus you step out the front door and you're in the middle of the Portland action. Vintage really embodies the fun and unique characteristics of Portland. Cookie cutter it ain't!
