Great location

Good hotel in a great downtown location. We had a large room which was also very quiet. All was really good and they even sent up a nice gift for our special day we were celebrating. The only issue we had was that the room was DARK, even with every light on it was still really very dark. I am not sure if it is intentionally low lighting but the lights in the room should allow for more light if needed. I would return anyway but hopefully they'll add some brighter bulbs by then.

Great Hotel!

Great hotel to go to when visiting Portland. Nicely decorated, great staff, fun games and bar! Love all of the details they put into everything, down to the amazing tolitries with essential oils. Also walking distance to great restaurants.

Great Vibe

Loved everything about this hotel: fruit water in the lobby, slight fragrance vaporizing in the entryway, friendly front desk staff, and happy hour every day. Of course we chose this hotel because they have a wine theme, and there are many spots on the first two floors to drink wine in a relaxed setting. They have live music several nights a week, and we were more than happy to stay in and enjoy the music, wine and ambience. Love the wine-stats chalkboard. Hotel rooms was pretty and bathroom was spacious.
All was good, definitely returning to Vintage the next time we are in Portland.

Great location

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the wine themed hotel and daily wine tastings. The staff was good. Work out fitness room was not much. Our room (417) bathroom door hit the toilet😩, so it was not possible to open the door all the way. Would not stay in this room again.

We like the Kimpton but in this case I don’t give it high marks.

Average hotel. Needs many improvements

I’m a big Kimpton fan and this has been my least favorite property. Fitness gym is tiny in the basement with no windows. Bathrooms need a remodel urgently, dated and inefficient. Restaurant in property had poor food quality and long wait time for food. Lastly, first time they charge an “amenity fee” explaining it is for lobby amenities and “free” wine hour. I haven’t been charged this before at any other Kimpton hotel. Service was very good as usual and people meant well, that’s why I’m giving it at least 3 stars, because of its people.
