How to Get There
My husband and I have stayed here a few times when we come to visit our daughter in college. It has always looked a little run down and in need of a redo, but we liked the location and the bar looking over the river. This time, however, I came home with bug bites. I showed them to a friend and she immediately said they looked like bedbugs bites. I called the manager and he was very responsive, telling me he would order a pest control inspection of the room and call me back. He called me back a few days later saying they had indeed found bedbugs in our mattress. He was terribly apologetic and refunded our stay, but I am so grossed out I will never stay there again.
So glad I found this beautiful place to stay when our flight got canceled and we had to wait until next day to leave Eugene, OR. Was able to book two rooms, including an accessible one, for 4 of us on very short notice. It was a very welcoming, convenient and relaxing place to stay overnight. The restaurant onsite, Sweetwaters on the River, was fantastic, and our server Brittany was the best and took care of us, even in our frazzled state. Would definitely stay here again!
Old, worn property with a musty smell throughout. Ceilings and walls are paper thin allowing you to hear every footstep, conversation and toilet flush. Zero privacy on balconies due to direct and unobstructed view of all balconies in each building. Rust on bath fixtures. Owner/management should spend some money to bring this property into the 21st century.
