Stay in Hotel Irvine from 28 Aor - 2 May
Reviewed 1 week ago

Overall, a comfortable experience for a first stay with Hotel Irvine.

Just a clarification of the green initiative - I have placed the green initiative signage (i.e. no need to make the room) for 4 days. I had assumed it is a $5 credit for each day, but since I only received one $5 credit, I assume the initiative is for per room stay (regardless of the length of stay(?

Today 05/11/2019 I had a VERY Great experience with one of the hotel staff. Her name is Haynel
the day i had an Encounter with her she was working on the 12th floor in the club room. She was in the middle of a very interesting conversation with another guest but the minute i walked in she paused to help me. as being by herself she still had time to keep up the night appetizers and drinks as they were going fast she made sure to keep them up but yet still making sure everyone was taken care of and that tables and plates were still being cleared. i watched this for about 10 minutes and it REALLY REALLY made my day better. Her attitude was very up beat and very contagious. I Hope that others as well will notice this and Keep giving her the praise shes needs so that she knows in just a little way she is changing lives by just being herself!!!! Please if you read this haynel i want you to know you definitely made a impact on me because in this world if we just had a few more haynels it would be that much better of a place. Because as i always say if you dont love your job then life will not be fun, but if you find a good way to just smile, laugh and always greet everyone kindly you may not know it but you may have help a person having a bad day look at life and realize even if we do have bad days we are still all here and YES ATTITUDES are very CONTAGIOUS!!! so to end Haynel keep up the EXCELLENT work and hope to see you the next time im here.

No sleep and loud hallways
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I had high hopes for this hotel. Looks nice enough from the outside, but they must rent to a lot of younger people. This is the 2nd night I have be awoken abruptly by chatter and people in the hallways. I had the security person trying to get a couple in a room 2 doors down to leave because they didn't properly charge the credit card on file and the credit card they presented was declined.

Security keeps coming up to the room and being very loud in the hallways and as I write this, they are still up here. It is almost 11PM. I have called down to the front desk 2 times, with no results.

Breakfast which is also included is not great. You don't get any real service from the wait staff, and the workers have been talking about how they don't want to work here and do what they have been asked to do. It seems like the management doesn't care about the people working for them.

Parking is on the other side of the hotel and you have to walk all around the ballrooms and constant groups of people and companies that rent the rooms. It's tough when the halls area full of people having parties and you just want to get in your room from a long day.

This hotel will not be visited again.

Great Hotel

Hi this is a great hotel to stay at - I especially like the Marketplace on the main floor as I can get late night or early morning snacks - this was very helpful as I had a three hour time difference upon arrival and I was starving at hours that weren't necessarily lining up with the Pacific Time zone as my body was still on eastern time zone
