How to Get There
Stayed here for just 1 night, super close to the bars and restaurants. You do have to pay for parking but thats fine. I loved the view from my room, hotel was beautiful and literally across the street from the beach! I don't even live far from HB but i wanted to splurge for a day at least. I forgot to pack my swimsuit i wanted to go in the pool so badly! Will def be back, i have to go in the pool next time!
You won't be disappointed staying here. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are very clean, the level of service is incredibly professional, and they are walking distance from everything.
For those traveling with dogs, they give you a nice welcome basket, allow you to keep your dogs in your room unattended (as long as they are quiet), and don't charge ridiculous pet fees and deposits.
About a month ago, a friend and I enjoyed a spa day at the new Drift Spa at the Hilton. The spa was absolutely gorgeous and we both loved our massages by Lita and Virgil. You are able to order lunch on the patio after your treatment.
The only major disappointment was my gel manicure which lasted only 4 days! For the extremely high price paid, it was crazy that they chipped so quickly. I had to go to my regular nail salon to get my nails redone before a gala I attended a few days later. When I called the spa to let them know, they offered to do my nails again, but their nail tech only works a few days a week, and she was not available on the days I needed them done. Although the nail tech was pleasant, I would never get my nails done at the spa again, but I would go back for a massage. It is a truly beautiful spa.
Overpriced and nothing spectacular. Don’t expect any upgrades even with Diamond status. The rooms in the Huntington tower are smaller and more dated than the other tower. All the rooms have a view of the ocean but the further towards the road you are, the closer and better your view. Unfortunately the room numbering is not consistent among floors, I was on floor 12 of the Huntington Tower and the lower the number, the closer you are to the ocean, but my colleague was on floor 3 and the higher the number the closer the room is to the water. Also, “oceanfront” is a bit of a stretch, you have a busy road in front of the hotel and then across the street is a beach parking lot with a bunch of RVs and then the beach, and then the ocean.
Great view of the ocean from a one-bedroom suite. That's the positive. Otherwise, the room was old, dusty, worn-out furniture. We ordered room service and it was as bad as we had ever experienced, sooo bad. So much promise, given the location, but really under-delivered.
