How to Get There
At a conference. Hotel is interesting. Small by some standards reception area. But staff are great. This place is hopping as it is near the freeways. Lots of meetings and meeting spaces, inside and outside.
Ok a heavenly bed. Two shower heads, one is a rain shower. Comfortable large bedrooms. Fridge. Water included. Safe. Internet. Rooms are quiet. Walk across the street to one of the largest malls in the US and this one for the record is HIGH end. Minutes from John Wayne. Shuttle every 30 minutes on the hour. Good breakfast and dinner in the lobby lounge/restaurant. Starbucks on site.
Full service Hotel with a bar/restaurant in lobby. Beautiful pool and sun area with weight room and facilities for group events.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable with Westin’s signature bedding.
Segerstrom center and South Coast Plaza nearby as well as high end eateries.
I would stay again.
Pleasant stay at Westin Costa Mesa. Hotel facilities are very good, including swimming pool and fitness centre, nice rooms and good restaurants. If you are in Costa Mesa this is definitively an hotel to look for
If you're familiar with the Westin brand, you'll know exactly what this hotel is like. Soothing (bland?) beige and gray decor. Clean lines and lots of windows. The bed is great. If you, too, travel a lot and stay at Westins you will feel like you've stayed here before even if you never have. If you're not a Marriott Rewards road warrior I would stay here if the price is right. I don't think it's worth going out of your way for. It's in a good location for Irvine business and I didn't overpay so I was very satisfied.
Every couple of years when I visit the area this is the hotel of choice.
Once again it didn't disappoint.
Some people complained about valet parking fee and internet charge, but if you do your homework before hand, nothing is hidden. One way to avoid the internet fee is to become a SPG Member, it's free and it solves the problem (I do think that internet should be free regardless). You can always self park, I think the cost is 16 bucks a night.
Great location, walking distance from South Coast Plaza, a lot of restaurants, righ off of the 405 freeway.
The staff were friendly and nice, the valet staff were super nice also. Had no problems with the rooms. Stayed for 10 days and on a couple of the days there was a conference, but since we were out all day it didn't make a diference.
Now it's a Marriott property, I hope they maintain the Westin standard.
Anyways, I know hotels are a personal preference, I enjoyed my stay and will go back.
Rooms were spacious and very clean. The king bed has a walk in shower and the rooms with double beds that a tub/shower with plastic curtain).
