One night away

Very comfortable hotel. Reasonable price for the area, and we had a room with a view of the lake on the 16th floor. The gentleman who checked us in (I believe his name was Oliver?) Was extremely welcoming and friendly. We arrived hours early but our room was ready which was helpful and a nice surprise.
There was some sort of a party in the evening taking place in the main lobby - probably a Christmas event, and everyone was dressed formally. It did not, however, affect our stay in any way. Our room was quiet, and check out was extremely easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location to attend events at Scotiabank Arena

This hotel is very close to the arena, around 5 minutes’ walk. If you go through nearby Oxford (?) Building, it has an inside bridge that connect to the arena, so we don't have to walk outside during cold winter. The hotel room was good for the rate. The housekeeping was neatly done every day. As for the amenities, it was a disappointing that the hotel didn't offer a pair of disposable slippers and a shower cap, which I think are almost basic stuff for this class of hotels. In addition, the room internet is not free even for Marriott members which I think is ridiculous, though we could get a complimentary in-room internet after we talked with a receptionist. I think the parking fee (valet parking only) CAD$50/night even for the hotel guests is a bit pricey too.

Visiting Toronto CA

The Westin Harbour is little pricy but it's in a great location, within walking distance from a lot of attractions. Great little coffee shops, eatery's and such. We found Toronto to be good place. My wife and walked about 25 mi. in six days and never once did feel unsafe. The parts of the city we were in were very clean. The people were polite and helpful. We loved it and will go back when we get the opportunity.

Convenient location but rooms could be refreshed

Convenient location on the lakeshore and within walking distance of Union
Station and Downtown. Large hotel with a good gym and a swimming pool. Friendly service. I had a nice view of the Toronto skyline from my room. Large room but slightly outdated (especially the bathroom). Breakfast could be improved (also the breakfast room is not big, quite noisy and not very nice).

Return visit

Westin Harbor Castle is our "go to" for downtown Toronto, but I was a little disappointed this time. We had a room with a balcony and lake view, which was good, but the balcony creaked when we stepped on it. And of course, no smoking on the balcony.

Pros: Great location, lots of great service, beautiful hotel, ok wifi, In-room Starbucks coffee
Cons: Crazy expensive valet parking.

We will probably still choose this hotel again, but I'm disappointed.
