Needs a little reno...

I splurged on a suite on the 33rd floor. For the price, i have to say i was very disappointed. The bathroom reminded me of the first apartment i rented many years ago. the carpet looked 'tired' and the general furnishings were uninspired. No minibar. super sparse on cups/glasses etc.

also: Nice touch of the customer service team to reach out by email before i arrive to see if there is anything they can do to make my stay special - i've never had that happen before. But it only helps if you follow through on the request... i asked to arrange for a bottle of bubbles which was nowhere to be found..

Friendly service at check-in and generally. And fantastic views from the 33rd. But in total and overall, meh at best.

Not so friendly check in staff

Even though I did a mobile check in and keys and room were ready this property does not have an exclusive line for mobile guest and long lines are exhausting because this is a busy hotel and they were short staff. Quite disappointed and on top of that I asked for a copy of my booking which the agent declined twice to do it. I got a room side way of tower facing the city.

Rooms are super dated and the promised upgrade was nowhere in sight. The concierge? Very disappointing. It’s a shame, really, because the view one has from the room (up high) was breathtaking and the location is great too.
