Two night stay August 2018

Impressive first impression of this hotel foyer/reception. All staff spoke to you if they saw you anywhere. Reception staff friendly .
Our room was in a quiet area so no noise. It didn't have an opening window .Only because we prefer opening a window to air conditioning, it seemed a little closed in and dark as it looked over the inner courtyard. If you are used to using aircon all the time its fine. Everything in the room was spotless. We had immediate help with the safe which we had messed up. Very good service.Quality toiletries.
Our main criticism of this hotel is that there is no wi-fi in the rooms unless you pay. We were very surprised as basic cafe's/pubs have this and this is quite an expensive hotel. Only free wi-fi is in the lobby.
If you have to kill a few hours after checking out and go sightseeing, cases can be securely left at hotel . You can also sit in the large foyer, use the free internet there and facilities. Staff rushed out to hail a taxi down as soon as we asked for one. It was all great service. The location of the hotel is brilliant for walking anywhere.

Very Nice Hotel

Stayed here 4 nights while we attended the Rogers Cup Tennis tournament. Very nice rooms , had a 6th floor premier king room, with large shower and sitting area. Close to train and other transportation. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Oldfashined but beautyful Hotel in the center of Toronto

The Hotel has a very elegant touch and an impressive lobby. The service is amazing, no matter if you need your car, transfer to the airport, or just directions to the nearest subway, the concierge will organise that and help you. The rooms are large, very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was big and bright.
The hotel is just one block from King Street Subway station. So you don't need a car. The hotel has only valet parking that is 55$ per night. There is a cheaper parking around, but it's hard to find.
All in all a great experience, we really recommend the hotel for a stay in Toronto!

Luxury hotel close to public transportation

This luxury hotel is very well situated near the stop 'King' of the subway and also a streetcar stops almost in front of the door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out went very quick and a litlle error on the bill was corrected immediately. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom (in our case) was rather small with not much storage space. Good breakfast buffet.

A sophisticated, luxurious boutique hotel

On entering the hotel, I was greeted by a very courteous and friendly doorman. I spent a night here as part of attending a wedding, and this hotel was used as the venue. It was likely the most expensive wedding I’ve attended. My room was very luxurious, and especially the bed and bedding. The bathroom too was luxurious. I especially liked the bathtub, as I am more of a bath person than a shower taker. Even the public washrooms on the ground floor are very luxurious. I love the main floor décor. It is very beautiful. The morning after the wedding, we had the very delicious Sunday brunch on the ground floor. It was a very sophisticated meal offering. There were lots to select from. All was delicious.

The doorman, front desk staff, restaurant receptionist and servers, cleaning staff in the hallways, and other hotel staff smile when they greet guests.

This luxury hotel was built in 1903, and through the latest $40 million renovation, has been reimaged for today’s needs while maintaining its original grandeur.

Previously, I’ve been to the hotel for a few business events, which have include dinner. They have all be upscale events, in large part to the contributions of this venue.
