How to Get There
Stayed here for a work conference. Rooms are excellently appointed, roomy and clean, and I had a great view from my room. Hotel is within walking distance of lots of great restaurants. Only negative is that the lobby bar service was a bit slow.
Warm and welcoming this Sheraton was the ideal home base for our girls weekend away! Quick and easy check in got us in our spotless rooms (beautiful views of the city including CN Tower!) quickly and back out into the center of Toronto to enjoy the city. Every associate we encountered was helpful and friendly, many quick elevators allowed us to access our rooms without delay and head back out to Eaton Center which is literally steps away. It was a pleasant surprise to encounter the Art show in the beautiful park across from the hotel, even without the show, it's a lovely place to stretch your legs and enjoy people watching. Breakfast buffet or A la Carte options are fresh and hot at the on site restaurant. We enjoyed browsing in the on-site shops, walking around the waterfall park at the interior of the hotel, and the many points we could access the city from the hotel. Would recommend for all types of travellers - business to leisure, couples or families. There is an onsite Starbucks in the lobby for those who love coffee any time of day.
Usually we don’t write reviews, however high level of service we received in this hotel, made us want to share our experience.
We stayed for a night end of June.
Indeed, this hotel has a great location, excellent restaurant facilities, great pool. However, key for us was it’s people factor.
We got very impressed with amazing vibe and attention, care from the employees of the hotel.
Our great experience started off with meeting Anastasia at Reception, who was so kind, welcoming and helpful, that made us a bit sad we booked only 1 night in this location!
Also Karen at the Club Lounge, very kind, welcoming and humble professional.
Not only the hotel has a 5 star location, but, most importantly, 5 star team!
We wanted to express how grateful we are for excellent hospitality.
And to be honest, everyone whom we met in the hotel were great and expressed positive vibes: from front desk, DJ in the lobby to housekeeping and lounge teamers.
Thus, apart from an amazing location (which yes, several hotels offer), Sheraton Center has the most valuable unique asset - it’s amazing team. Congrats management on this achievement!
One more time, thanks to Anastasia, Karen and all the team, we can’t wait to be back!
I am terribly shocked by the level of service here. It is despicable especially at the pool area. The most rude and unpleasant staff I’ve ever met, slow service, overpriced, bad food. The servers are so impolite. Change rooms are absolutely disgusting. As a Sheraton fan, this hotel does not meet Sheraton standards. It’s a real shame.
We spent 2 nights here as a family of 4 in a twin room. The room was clean, spacious and beds incredibly comfortable. One negative was the lacking towels, they knew there would be 4 in the room yet only provided enough towels for 3, but housekeeping delivered extra towels promptly upon request. I can’t comment on the breakfast, except that the breakfast in the small cafe was ridiculously overpriced, albeit convenient. We didn’t try the main buffet breakfast. Check in staff were really helpful, as was the concierge, although once he’s knocked off for the day there is nobody who can assist with arrangements.
We’d definitely stay again though.
