How to Get There
So basically you can almost never go wrong with Marriott. We were attending a hockey game, the Toronto Maple Leafs and we won, but did not want to have to worry about driving home after the game. So we booked this hotel because it is connected to the "Path". Which means we never had to go outside to go from the hotel to the game or back. Nice easy short walk and a ton of places to eat and pick up stuff for the room including a LCBO. Very nice, easy and nicely located. Room was a king bed and for the most part the room was very clean and very nicely appointed. I could have used one more casual chair but not a big deal. We were on the 41st floor so the view was spectacular to say the least. Not a budget hotel but worth the money spent. Now the not so good news, parking is a challenge anywhere down here and the parking is not part of the hotel. You park and come up inside the building next door but we used the Path to get to the hotel, just a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker. Parking from 3 pm to 12 noon the next day was 45.00 and you just paid before going back to your car with all forms of money or cards. This is a upper class hotel and it is connected to a lot of "inside" locations so you really don't need jackets or rain gear to explore the whole area. Worth the money spent hands down.
The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very nice and we received an upgraded room. The location is awesome. Downtown and beside the Scotia Bank center. The Club Lounge was very nice with some excellent snacks. We usually stay downtown at other Sheraton/Marriott hotels downtown but will now stay here. Our only issue was that the elevators are always very slow. It seems like they didn't design the property correctly. I walked down 12 floors once due to the slowness of the elevator.
This was my third visit to this establishment and its still great. The service, the location, the fitness center, the restaurant, the whiskey bar and the room, everything was spot on and I always try and find a flaw somewhere. Would definitely stay here again.
Can’t Thank Manager Gillian Enough. The Suite provided for my family was amazing!! High quality all around, Club Level was awesome also. When considering a Toronto hotel Stay the Delta should be top of the list.
Just loved it here the slide was so much fun I have stayed here many times always my go to hotel when in toronto very friendly right downtown can get everywhere fast only thing I'd suggest is faster service at front desk
