One of the best hotels I have been to

Truly a pleasure staying at this hotel in downtown Toronto. It's clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The front desk manager-Sheila is wonderful. She is very friendly and helpful. She answered all of our inquiries professionally. Love the smiles and sparkles in her eyes every time she talks to guests. Definitely an asset.
Way to go Cambridge Suites. :-)

1st time staying here, but definitely not our last

Location, location, location. This is a great spot, just steps from Young Street, restaurants, shopping and the Metro. The St. Lawrence Market is also nearby. We had lunch there and it was wonderful. The 1 bedroom suite was large and well equipped. It was a treat for me to have a Nespresso coffee maker in the room. It was also nice to see that they have a strict noise policy.

Awful customer service & pricing scam

Dreadful customer service. We paid extra for a cot and a 5th person in the room (2 beds and a cot), upon returning to the hotel after our night out we were told that only 4 of our group of 5 could stay at the hotel. Thank you very much for charging extra for the additional person and then not allowing them to stay there. Great way to scam paying customers!!

Will not be returning and would caution any potential customers from taking this hotel's word for anything! BEWARE!!!

Comfortable, central

While not luxurious this is a clean comfortable hotel that is well situated in Toronto’s downtown. The beds are comfortable with lovely bedding, but the upholstery in the living area is very waiting room bland with the same amount of comfort one would find in their dentists waiting area.
They do offer a mediocre buffet breakfast, but getting management to include it is a daunting task. Sometimes they do, many times they do not.
It is a quiet hotel so you should not have a difficult time trying to sleep or not be disturbed.
There is a little bar in the living area, with a counter, microwave, sink, refrigerator and coffee maker.
Unfortunately no matter how many times you stay there, they are not the most welcoming of staff and do not really reward or seem to embrace loyal clientele. They are certainly cordial enough, but in the hospitality service industry they could certainly up the quality on their appreciation of one’s business.

Just not good people

We booked a suite, myself, my spouse a couple and my friend. There was five as us in total. There was two beds and we requested a cot. No mention of a limit of 5 was mentioned until 230 am, as we stumbled in after a fun night celebrating a birthday. The night manager, Romeo would not even let us up or even make an exception. We are all in our late 30s and just wanted to have a night out and not worrie about drinking and driving. Cambridge Suites is not concerned about that or the well being of their patrons as they sent us packing at 230 even though we mentioned we had been drinking. I strongly suggest you stay clear of this chain. They risked people safety cause they would not let my wife, the only one not registered share a bed with me. Well done gents.
