How to Get There
I coordinate a semi annual meeting for a group of about 15 of us on average. We've been meeting at the Queen's Landing (or, on occasion, another Vintage property) for nearly 20 years now. It's not convenience that brings us back each year, its the consistent professionalism of its people and the quality of the experience. This most recent couple of days at the Queen's Landing (Nov 1-3, 2019) was no different. Despite the high and bitter winds outside, the warmth of fire places throughout, kind and helpful staff everywhere and charming atmosphere makes what's actually a rather large resort feel inviting and relaxing.
From start to finish, the experience is always the same. We have the pleasure of dealing with Peggy Cernick - Conference Services Manager - for every meeting and our only complaint is that Peggy isn't available at every event we organize at hotels elsewhere.
We frequent the Bachus Lounge and the Tiara Dining room when it's too cold to walk around outside and are rarely disappointed. The meeting facilities are world class and I don't recall a time we had AV or catering concerns. Everything is managed smoothly from start to finish and we will continue visiting the Queen's Landing for years to come, I'm certain.
To celebrate my wife's birthday (and since we had Veteran's Day off), I decided to treat my wife to a night at the Queen's Landing. I had never stayed at a Vintage Hotel before, but the description of the room sounded perfect: king bed, gas fireplace, waterfront view. It was absolutely fantastic and my wife loved it! Turn-down service with a white rose on the bed was very classy. Not only that, but the front desk even gave my wife a birthday card and chocolates! Gentlemen, the Queen's Landing will treat your wife or girlfriend like the Queen she is! I wouldn't hesitate to do another NOTL weekend at the Queen's Landing again!
Amazing location, phenomenal staff throughout especially Gerardo at breakfast and Beverly in the evening lounge. Such a great way to spend my birthday over a great weekend of amazing service and awesome food!
