How to Get There
What a lovely stay!! This is my second visit for business.
The grounds are gorgeous , the food is delicious...try the braised ribs!
Wonderful complimentary yoga classes.
We took the trolley tour and had a great time.
Clean spacious rooms.
Happy, friendly staff.
This hotel ticks every box!
Spa, gym, culinary , cleanliness , great location! Great job Pillar &Post!
the rooms need an upgrade. its nice to keep the character in the resteraunt, bar, lounge....but the rooms need to be comfortable, showers need to work and overall finishes need a serious upgrade!
resteraunt is nice but food is just ok - not great...i do like the bar!
didn't use the spa facility this time around but i do remember enjoying the hot tub area on past visits.
We stayed here last week for 2 nights on our honeymoon.
The hotel is lovely as are the staff. Particular mention to Tim at the front desk who swiftly sorted out a minor issue without fuss and was absolutely delightful!!
But when we arrived in our next stop we discovered the hotel had charged us $840/£501. Thinking they had charged us for the stay rather than pre-authorisation for incidentals we contacted the hotel. They replied promptly saying this was pre-authorisation and the funds would be made available in 7-10 days. Stunned that a hotel would preauthoise that much I contacted them again after 48 hours I got a reply that a system issue meant the full cost of the stay had been pre-authorised rather than the $150 per night (which still seems high).
So we are now left short of funds for the last few days of our honeymoon.
We were planning to visit again as we really liked the hotel and area but we'll be looking elsewhere now.
