How to Get There
The overall experience was excellent! The staff was welcoming and made sure that all of our needs were met. We were there at the beginning of June 2019 for a business meeting and Kathryn Rapsey and her staff took care of our group and was always one step ahead in terms of our needs. The food was great and had a variety of choice and the rooms was clean and comfortable. In all, it was a great experience and I would recommend The Pillar and Post Hotel for business or pleasure. It also well located in terms of other restaurants and wineries.
We Stayed for a couple of nights and had a wonderful time. The staff are so accommodating and friendly they arrange our Wine tour trolley and dropped us off and picked us up when we requested. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable bed! The outdoor hot springs was wonderful!!
First time to NIagara on the lake.
Checkin was easy. We did have to wait till 3 for our room but thats ok and went to the spa early and enjoyed the hot springs( Basically a mini hottub -- i expected more -- compared to the spa in collingwood)
Outdoor was SOOO busy.. No seats.. so we couldnt enjoy.. Sat by the indoor pool for a bit and used the Sauna and Hottub which was nice.
Our room was large and had a fireplace. very comfortable bed.
The highlight was our dinner at the cannery.
Amazing service and food. Our bill for 2 was 280! So not cheap!
I only put it 4 stars as the price was steep and it was VERY busy, which kinda limited our usage.
Regardless we had a great time and visited the STRIP --- IE. queen street for lunch.
Would i go back? Likely not...We are not wine lovers so it was nice to visit one time.
Thanks to Vladimir Dobrovolski, with all his planning and helping me put together a leadership meeting to a great success, the conference room was spacious and food was great. The staff (Porters) at the restaurant /bar where the top very friendly and courteous, and anything I asked for they where all on top of it A big thank you to a job well done..... Dan, Mike, Kevin, Jamie and to our bartender at his best Irish Peter and the rest of the staff at the Pillar & Post. Thank you
Thanks to Sarah for her excellent service when we ate at the Cannery. She was engaging and helpful without hovering. We appreciated her suggestions and her quality customer service. The hotel was (for the most part!) quiet, and the staff were quite lovely.
Want to make it better? Add more outlets to the rooms! We had to charge our phones in shifts because there was no outlet next to one side of the bed. :)
Room 233 was at the back, quiet with a private entrance. Breakfast on the covered walkway in the warmth of the sunshine was lovely😊
