How to Get There
My husband and I took a short vacation to Niagara Falls and decided to stay at the Sterling Inn & Spa after reading the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The place is beautiful. Nice large room, large shower, comfy bed, breakfast in bed every morning (coffee, OJ, croissants, yogurt, etc,) free room slippers and a nice comfy robe to wear during your stay. The room also has a firplace. It is within walking distance to the falls. One complaint was that on the second day of our stay our room did not receive housekeeping service until after 5 pm (after a call to the front desk.) Would recommend as a nice place to stay, but be prepared to pay $17 per day canadian for parking. Hotel offered a free cocktail coupon to be used at their in house restaurant (AG) upon check-in. Nice, friendly staff.
We have chosen The Sterling Inn for our accommodations for the third time in Niagara Falls! We love boutique hotels and always choose them when we travel. The Sterling is by far our favorite. The rooms amenities are extra special. The location is perfect for visiting the falls and the surrounding areas. The coffee bar in the lobby was an added feature for us this visit and my husband was in love with the espresso. The breakfast in bed is such a great treat. It’s a great start to the day. The hot tub and shower are amazing. All the furnishings are so well appointed. Fireplace in the room is so comforting. Meghan was our housekeeper and she was so attentive to the little details, leaving towel swans and candles and rose petals on our bed, since she knew it was our anniversary. We can’t wait to return and will always recommend The Sterling Inn.
I booked 2 nights at The Sterling Inn & Spa for my wife's 40th birthday through Expedia. We weren't interested in doing the typical Niagara Falls stay and were looking for a quiet relaxing getaway with the benefit of being close to numerous restaurants and shopping. We were thrilled with this Hotel! Upon check-in we realized the room we were assigned was not what we were expecting, but it wasn't an issue, the staff member quickly assigned us a new room, and a much better room at that, with no added cost or hassle. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and included a Jacuzzi tub, large shower, sitting room with TV, kitchenette, and a separate bedroom with king bed, another TV and an awesome gas fireplace. This room also had a really cool ceiling with exposed beams and wood from the floor above. The hotel was extremely quiet even though there were a lot of guests staying there. Every guest also receives a nice breakfast delivered to your room each morning, which was a really nice touch. The location was perfect for walking to all the amenities of Clifton Hill and down to the falls. There were a lot of restaurant options to choose from, and if you prefer to order in, SKIP the Dishes will deliver. We didn't utilize the spa services or the on-site AG Restaurant. The only extremely minor recommendation we would make to the hotel would be to offer a better TV service including streaming services like Netflix or Prime. The channels that were included on the Cogeco service were very sporadic and difficult to navigate through. Again, not a huge deal if you're not spending a lot of time watching TV. We would like to thank all the staff at the Sterling Inn for a wonderful stay!!
