Karen (mid-aged black female) at the front desk was very arrogant and disrespectful during our check-in and when our travel agent specifically called her and asked her to make the necessary corrections, she hid away and refused to do her job. The manager Mr Scott kindly took over and helped us.
The room was good. Enjoyed the jet tub and the views of the falls.

Sub-par cleanliness, unrelated to construction -- in room and restaurant.
Local power outage on our first Saturday evening for 1.5 hours trapped in room, no hall lights, pitch black, no elevator, no generator, no compensation "it was the city's fault."
Parking outrageously expensive, and lot elevator not working.
General long term construction inconveniences.
Restaurants ok, but hotel hospitality felt poor.

Soo sad for being a Hilton hotel

This hotel offers a great view and is in a great location, but they definitely have to work on their issues. It is currently under renovation, so there are a lot of places that are not open or operating, and it is pretty noisy with the construction. The room they originally gave us was right next to a roof, which is where all the construction was going on. Terrible view! We had to go down to the front desk to complain, and then they put us in a better room.
The shower could have been cleaner... there was mold around the hinges and parts in the shower AND there was water leaking out of our shower onto the floor in front of the toilet. It took them 3 times/days for them to get it right and fix it (we were only there for 3 days!) Also, the closet door handle fell off! The beds which are considered “king“, were more like queen-size. When we asked about this, we were told that they are “European king“. I’ve never heard that before and I’ve traveled to Canada plenty of times. They also add on a bunch of fees, not just the tax. To your hotel bill, restaurants, etc... These fees are at the owners discretion, they are not government mandatory!! A lot of businesses in Niagara Falls do this. Shame on them!
