Get away from it all at this quiet, adults-only resort, sitting pretty on its own private beach, just 7.5 miles from Sardinia’s beautiful Costa Smeralda. It comprises two low-level, whitewashed buildings with red-tiled roofs, and your room has a beautiful vista across the water to the sweep of Olbia Bay from the balcony. The quiet teardrop-shaped outdoor pool is set back from the beach, behind the second building, and offers shade at certain times of day. What's more, the chic new spa shows off a rooftop fitness terrace with exercise bikes, boasting a view to inspire even the laziest to keep pedaling.
The beach may be small, but it’s all yours, and there’s plenty of space for lounging on the grass just above (no sand in your face, either). The water is so clear, you can see fish darting from behind the rocks and right down to the sea floor. You can also relax in one of two sunken Jacuzzis in the gardens, before ambling over to the gourmet restaurant to sample some lovingly prepared local specialties.
