How to Get There
Used for business trip; staff is super-friendly. A bit expensive but affordable. Then bed was great but I have neck issues and had trouble with a comfortable pillow (minor). Very clean and kept facility.
Was there for a business conference. Nice rooms, great meeting space, fast and smooth elevators. Food served to our group was exceptional. $30 per night plus tips for Valet Parking is a bit steep. Very satisfied overall .
San Francisco of the Midwest? Regardless, Hyatt is Queen of this Jungle. Ok, buckle your seat belt. We’d never been to Cincinnati. Or Ohio for that matter. But fate took us there, and boy did we have a good time. Cincinnati has lots of history, having been a cultural hub for the Midwest in the 19th century. In the 20th century, some downs but from the look of it mostly up lately. And the Hyatt is definitely part of the up. Great staff, bar and restaurant, sharp room (upgrade for view of Ohio R.), and centrally located to anything and everything in the downtown core. I can’t imagine where else to stay?!! Btw, great Italian restaurant, Sotto, is nearby. Not to be missed!
I booked a one night get away at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati for Friday, May 18. We stayed in a King Deluxe room which was adequate. The room was clean enough, but the bed linens were nothing to write home about. Because the bottom sheet was not fitted, it kept sliding all over the place and coming off of the mattress. The bed was not as comfortable as you would expect.
Here was the BIG problem. Despite having requested a quiet room, the noise level we experienced was not acceptable and ruined our stay. From the moment we checked into our room, we were experiencing noise. We were unable to determine if the voices were coming through the walls from the rooms next door or if the voices were coming through the vent system. We could hear the conversations clearly as if we were sitting in the same room. They were very loud and this went on into the very early hours of the morning, keeping us up most of the night. Also, all throughout the night we experienced doors opening and closing, opening and closing, opening and closing. Then at 6:30am, only a short time after we were able to sleep, there were children running and screaming up and down the hallways. The walls in this hotels are like paper. If you don’t mind being kept awake and spending an amount of money on a hotel in which you would expect better but isn’t, this hotel would be for you. We were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, but were greatly disappointed. I have stayed at the Hilton Netherlands before and unfortunately, they didn’t have rooms available for this night. I truly wish they had. I will not stay at this hotel again.
Good location- close to ballparks, River, river walk, catch shuttle to Ky -1 Block away. Nice staff. Parking is $30 😏. We were on 22nd top floor with view of river- very good views. Reasonably priced for downtown, 1-2 blocks to Fountain Square. Saks & Tiffanys both close. Can walk to many restaurants.
