Bronco Weekend in Cincy

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to some nice restaurants, Graeter's Ice Cream shop and Paul Brown Stadium. The room was clean and had a great view of the stadium (26th floor), facing the river/Kentucky. 4 stars not 5 due to the restaurant options. Hathaways is simply not good and the room service menu/restaurant wasn't very kid friendly.

Awesome customer service

Stayed here for a professional development conference. Hotel was awesome, nicest place I've ever stayed (except no bathroom exhaust) Great hotel, great food, you can even get a free pass to the rooftop which was awesome!!! Customer service was exceptional. I forgot a razor and asked one from the desk. Someone was waiting at my room door with a nice razor and shaving cream! And, I will never forget Enid at the front counter. I was trying to find my way to the airport on a budget and she told me the exact bus stop, what time it would arrive at the airport and how much time I needed to plan ahead for the plane. She walked me to the bus stop and made me feel at ease and was just the icing on the cake.

Beautiful historic hotel!

We had two bathrooms in our room! It was large and a great and comfortable bed. No complaints just complements. The staff was friendly and was very willing to give us directions and other information about Cincinnati. The best location ever!

Unfortunately, it was a let down

Based off the reviews before our arrival we were excited to stay at the Hilton Netherland Plaza. Check-in was breeze and staff was very friendly.
The bar area downstairs is beautiful and so was most of the hotel, very historical and old. The let down came when we arrived in our room and it had a very strong musty/ moldy smell. The room was very little and what I consider to be outdated. You could literally hear every movement in the hallway or in connecting rooms, almost felt like you had zero privacy because of that. The pillows were very comfortable with the bed mattress felt like it was sloping down and was very uncomfortable. The Belvedere club was nothing special just basic and ordinary but the breakfast there was sufficient. It was convenient to Fountain Square and everything downtown. It was a very cold day and we were out and about in it and looking forward to coming back and taking nice hot showers only to find out the water was only lukewarm. It was very disappointing!! I did contact somebody from the hotel and they told me someone would get back with me and nobody ever did, another disappointment. The outside of the building sidewalks had a lot of litter and cigarette butts which made it kind of trashy looking on the walk up into that beautiful building. My husband and I have both the agreed that we would not stay in this hotel again or recommend it to our friends if they were coming into town. If you’re looking for a Hilton brand hotel to stay in on your visit I Would pick the Cincinnatian Curio collection just down the street. It is a much better price and hotel. I hate to give him a bad review but it is what it is. Comparatively to other Hilton’s I have stayed in, this is on the bottom of my list.

Great authentic Art Deco lobby but below par rooms for the Hilton brand.

Such a beautiful Art Deco lobby in every respect! But the room I stayed in was far below my expectations of the Hilton brand. No complimentary coffee/tea in the room. Many many coats of paint on the walls and trim. An older rug and a very small closet. The breakfast buffet served room temp “hot food” choices.
