Great Find!
Reviewed 5 days ago

Beach Villas at Ko Olina is a great find if you want luxury condo style accommodations with kitchens. We rented a 2bd/2bth for a week and had an incredible time. The resort is very well maintained and the staff is very helpful. Our check-in was seamless and we were on the beach in no time. The great thing about Ko Olina is its location away from Honolulu. The pace is more relaxed, less traffic and shopping/grocery stores are just a 10 minute drive away. Being able to cook breakfast or lunch or dinner in your condo is a blessing not to mention a huge cost savings. We did eat out a number of times, but i could not imagine 3 meals a day for a week at Oahu prices.

Beach Villas is also much more relaxing than the neighboring resorts (Marriott, Alani, Four Seasons) and that's exactly what we were looking for. Even with 2 teenagers, they appreciated the relaxed atmosphere over the crowded resorts. We never had to look for lounge chairs at the pool or space on the beach. The most crowded thing at Beach Villas was the line for using the outdoor grills by the pool. This is a great opportunity to cook outside and enjoy a beautiful sunset with your family and meet other families.

Great Vacation and Great Location!

Relaxing and away from the chaos of Waikiki

Location is great to get away from the craziness. You have access to the lagoons so for small children you don't have to worry about the large waves. There is a bar at the location, pools and grills. The condos were super spacious and plenty of room for everyone. The only drawback was the parking spaces were a little tight for our car rental.

A lucky find and great stay.

This was a bit of a lucky find on VRBO, but one we're glad to have found.

It really is a great value when compared to the other resorts here.

I'll start by saying that our rental agent, maintenance and greeter have all been wonderful.

The unit faces due west and you have a direct southern view of the lagoon and ocean.

The condo and the property are immaculate and well maintained.

The condo is a two bedroom suite with two full washrooms, one of which is a well appointed and quite large ensuite to the master bedroom.

The living space is of generous proportion to the entire suite and with 3 adults here, there is no wanting of space.

The kitchen is fully modern with SS appliances, tile flooring and plenty of cupboard and counter space.

There is in suite laundry and while we had a very minor hiccup with it, Ron, the maintenance man was Johnny on the spot and had it sorted immediately.

The bedrooms are quite spacious with enough drawer space for all of your clothes. In fact, there is enough space, I think my wife could stay here for more than a month and not utilize all the space.

The open lanai is fantastic in the morning, or any time for that matter. It's a beautiful space to enjoy a tequila or even write a review for tripadvisor.com

The fitness center is decently equipped and I've made it work for me this week. It is spacious and clean.

The grounds staff are very polite and enthusiastic to offer any help you may require. Rose has done an incredible job with her staff.

Overall, just an incredible resort. We will be back.

Beautiful ocean views and solid amenities
Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed a week in a 3 bedroom villa on the 7th floor with an ocean view (we could also see the Marriott resort next door and the brown, unused plot between the 2 resorts). The villas did not seem to be crowded (last week in April 2019, first week of May). There were usually people at the pools, but never that many. Pool was solid but not spectacular. Two hot tubs, both fine. We enjoyed the poolside bar which has prices typical of the area. The lagoon was good to swim in and do some light snorkeling (there are a few fish in there!). Sunset views were beautiful.

The villas themselves have decent amenities including beds, tables, chairs, TVs, but nothing out of the ordinary. They are priced to beat Disney Aulani next door and certainly do. We went to Disney for their shave ice and their luau (a bit of a walk--we also drove and used their parking). We would drive to Kapolei some 10 minutes away for groceries as we used the villa to cook most of our meals. The parking area was a bit tight, or would have been if the villa were full that week.

I would recommend this villa for someone who doesn't mind being away from the action and in fact wants to be a bit more relaxed and not crowded.

Beach Villas are by far the best deal in Ko Olina

PROS:
Oceanfront, beautiful grounds that are impeccable, very close to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Disney's resort is literally right next door which should tell you how nice of an area this is. A gorgeous golf course across the street that the LPGA found good enough to host one of their key tournaments each year. A wonderful walking path that covers about 1 mile of oceanfront beauty. Very courteous staff. The lagoon is marvelous with incredible snorkeling right at your resort. Wonderful pool. Room was wonderful.

CONS:
Washer and dryer were just absolutely terrible. (This may not be the same for each unit) That's about it.
