How to Get There
We had a great view of the ocean and watched the beautiful sunset every night. The grounds and pools are always clean and well maintained. The lagoon right out front was great to just go sit on the beach or go for a swim. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. We went to the luau one night which is within walking distance. While out for a walk one afternoon we saw a wedding taking place on the beach, so beautiful. I highly recommend staying there.
This is a ground floor villa closest to the beach/lagoon area. Excellent for families because everyone can have the doors open, hang out on the lanai and watch the kids run around safely. The room was modern and super clean. Everything that we needed was there including a pack and play crib. high chair, and beach toys for the whole family including a baby floaty. The Ko Olina area is secluded from the rest of the island. Its a really nice resort area and you have access to the other hotels and restaurants here, technically within walking distance. We would definitely come here again.
My Husband & I stayed here for 2 weeks, we had unit #1104 it was very nice. We loved the lanai, it was looking out on to the ocean. We could actually watch the whales from the lanai.
It was on the 11th floor, the unit itself was also beautiful. These units come with a private elevator, which is also great to have.
We found the lanai to be very private, but you can hear your neighbors, if they are outside.
This resort has 3 other Hotels around, but each one comes with their own lagoon, which is great for everyone, but especially for kids. There are no one bedroom units here.
Ko Olina Beach Villas, are only 2 buildings, one is right on the beach, the other is just a bit set back, but has the ocean view rooms, available. The large pool here is beautiful, there are 2 other smaller pools,as well as hot tubs. There are BBQ's down stairs, & tables if you would like to eat by the BBQ. Everything is kept very clean, we can see them cleaning the pools & BBQ's daily.
Our unit came with everything you need inside, as well as everything you need for the beach, towels, chairs, cooler, etc.
You get a free parking spot during your stay. There is a small plaza walking distance from the resort, that has an ABC store, you can get ready made food, wine, and so much more. They have a coffee place , ice cream shop, some other stores, & a Restaurant in this plaza.
Other grocery stores, including Costco is not far, but you need a car to get to them.
This resort does not have a Restaurant, but the Marriott does, also the Four Season has I thing 2 Restaurants, but I thought they were a bit pricey. There is a golf course also within walking distance, at the golf course there is a Roy's Restaurant, food is good.
We didn't play golf, but it looked like a nice golf course. I think it was Ko Olina Golf Course.
We would consider coming back here again, it was in a great location away from the busy Waikiki.
One thing that we found, most if the Aeroplanes, must be using a certain runway, as there were coming quite frequently over these buildings. Only noticeable, when you were sitting on the lanai. You don't hear much if you are inside, except the military planes, but not a big deal.
My family and I booked a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo for a weeklong family reunion and wedding. We chose a condo situated on a high floor with ocean views. It was wonderful!! The trip was amazing and everybody enjoyed their stay. The condo is spacious and modern with updated appliances. We appreciated the in unit washer and dryer, but most especially the kitchen. We were able to cook meals that fed 20 people.
The pools are nice and clean. It gets crowded sometimes but we all did not mind. We enjoyed the lagoon right in front of the property and swam in there every day. We had relatives visit from nearby properties such as the Marriott and Aulani. Everybody liked the Beach Villas condo and inquired on how to book this specific property for future travels. This was the highlight of our Oahu vacation. We hope to return and if we do, we will be sure to book at the Beach Villas again.
My husband and I travel to Hawaii each winter. We stayed northshore, Waikiki, and Ko Olina. By far the KoOlina Beach Villas exceeded all other accommodations. Pools close to the beach, private lagoon, guest parking, and close to H1, shopping, restaurants and golf!!! Large villas with all the amenities. Could not ask for more!!
Heaven on earth. HATE TO LEAVE.
