Hidden Gem in the heart of Waikiki
Reviewed 1 day ago

After reading many reviews before booking this hotel. We are so pleased we chose Waikiki Parc, as it ticked all the boxes. We love this hotel, staying here for 22 nights. Upon arrival check-in was smooth and quick by Bernie. We were put on the 17th floor and our immediate delight upon opening door to room with fantastic views across ocean. (See photo). The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. We really like the shower/bath combination. Housekeeping are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. If your late getting up, just tell reception when you leave the room and they will organise housekeeping. They supply plenty of towels. WI-FI is great in the room but it will drop out if your sitting on the balcony. What's App works perfectly!!!

After being here for 17 days already we can honestly say we got value for money compared to most of the hotels competitors. Location is fabulous. Yard House Sports Bar is 300 meters walk away from front of hotel. Food and drink plenty, happy hour reasonable prices. Dennys for breakfast is just outside the hotel and is very good and open 24 hours. Yes, there is an on-site Laundry facility on 8th floor which is brilliant. $2 per load. Free washing powder. It's on the same level as the unpretentious swimming pool. Yes, there are no people serving drinks around the pool or a fancy cabana at extreme price tags to hire but NO RESORT FEE either at this hotel. We had our own small collapsable esky with ice bricks, just the trick. Took our own frozen water and soft drink and beer to the pool and saved ourselves a fortune!!!

What we saved on drinks around the pool we spent on the Waikiki Trolley. It took us all around the Island, to Diamond Head, Hanuama Bay or to Pearl Harbour or on the Blue Line to see the fantastic Coastal Scenery. A Four day pass is $65 dollars each person. You can purchase this at T Galleria Shopping Centre which is a short walk from the hotel. It's value for money, use it all day and if you hate walking in the heat or spending money on unnecessary all day tours you will enjoy every moment. The driver's are tour guides and will tell you everything.

There is only one small issue with this hotel, (not the hotel's fault) the noise from the Sheraton Waikiki Loading Bay can be heard at various times throughout the day and night we did struggle to sleep one night BUT the Pro's of this hotel far outway the Con's and have been advised that the noise level will be addressed with the new upgrade of the hotel in October 2018. So book your bargain now or wait for one year and book when the upgrade is completed. We are definitely coming back.

We cannot fault the hotel on price or location and in Waikiki it's a bargain considering the cost of a run down room at the Sheraton Waikiki next door. Well done Waikiki Parc you and your team are to be congratulated.

Great Hotel in a great location

There is nothing bad that we can say about our stay in this hotel. The room and bathroom were quite large, the bed comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if it had a hotel bar so you could have a quiet night cap away from the youngsters and the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.

Good hotel for a great price

You won't spend much time in a room in Waikiki so do not break the budget. This hotel has great views and is located walking distance from all the shopping, restaurants and bars as well as a great museum and the beach. The breakfast is very good and they have a fun wine and cheese reception during the week. Very satisfied and recommend you stay here while in Waikiki.

Clean and roomy

I found the room to be pleasant and clean, staff at the front counter were a mix of helpful and very unhelpful to the point of being rude. Breakfast staff were great.Location was good, ocean view not worth it as the view you get is a gap between to other hotels,Fine for the price though
