Great location

Myself and my husband stayed in The Hyatt Regency in March of this year. We got to the hotel around 8am and hoped we could at least leave our luggage in storage until we could check in but much to our surprise and delight we were able to check into our room then. The room was nice fairly basic but comfortable. The hotel itself is old and dated but is clean and staff are wonderful. The location is the winning factor for the hotel it’s opposite the beach and in the heart of everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great Family Vacation

The location of Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa is amazing; located across the road from Waikiki Beach and in walking distance to the shops. Most of the staff are really friendly; the only down side to our last trip was everything possible that could go wrong with a hotel did. However, the staff attempted to correct things quickly and without fuss. would definitely consider staying again.

My Experiece

Nice, clean hotel. Rooms are large and the maids do a great job with cleaning the rooms on a daily basis. Plenty of shops inside the mall area to buy gifts and souvenirs. Hotel staff not as friendly as some of the other chain of hotels that I have visited. The outdoor pool is kind of small for the number of guests that stay at the tower hotel.

Walking distance to the beach , shops and one block to Kalakawa avenue. The hotel has generous size rooms and includes breakfast. Easy walk to restaurants plus conveniently located on the bus route. If you feel like a stroll you can get to Ala Moana Centre in 20 minutes or so and after shopping get the buz back to the hotel.

Stayed two nights before longer trip

Arrived at hotel after frustrating experience with airport shuttle. My advice is take a taxi. Long line at check in that should have been avoided. Bell man met me at the door and took my luggage. Told me it would be in my room after I checked in. It was not there and had to call to get it brought up. Accommodations were nice. Just across the street from the beach and in the center of everything. Buffet breakfast was great.
