How to Get There
What an incredible experience at the Edge. The service is as good as anywhere I have stay in the world. My butler Sanjaya was extremely professional and couldn’t fault him.
The one bedroom villas were massive over 800m2 and oozes with luxury.
The Seas restaurant was outstanding with service to match.
The One Eighty Pool is the one of the best in Bali and to experience the floating breakfast in the morning was a tick off the Bucketlist.
Special shout out to Anys the supervisor who does an amazing job there too.

On our 4 day stay in Bali we decided to spend two nights at The Edge Bali. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the staff, and brought to our room right away. Staying at the Ocean View room, we were accompanied by two private butlers that serviced us day and night. The room had 2 bedrooms, a private pool and a living room. The Hotel staff politely told us that our butler had been waiting for us at the airport since 1:00 P.M., and at that time it was already 8:00 P.M. Instantly we felt terrible for not informing him that we were already on our way exploring the island. We were then introduced to two of the butlers, Apong and his friend.They showed us around and informed us about the facility and amenities. We had dinner at The Seas restaurant, which was a fantastic South Asian cuisine. After dinner we apologised to Apong and thanked him for being so dedicated to his job. The next morning we had the floating breakfast in the pool with a spectacular view. All the people at The edge would greet us and smile everywhere we went. That day we left the hotel and kept on exploring Bali. Later that day we came back to our hotel and asked our butler to bring us to any place that had good food. He recommended this little local market, he knew we wanted to try some local food. Apong brought us to the restaurant and asked us what we wanted, he ordered all the food we wanted. After we were finished, Apong returned and even went to pay the food for us. He brought us back to the hotel, at that time we were exhausted and slept. The next morning we were checked out. 5 Staff members were there to send us, including Apong. This is where Apong really surprised us. We had explored more of Bali that whole day, and we already checked in to this other hotel. While we were having dinner the hotel staff at this hotel informed us that our driver had our golden bracelet. We thought, at the time, it was our tour guide. We told him it was okay and we will get it tomorrow. Around 3 hours later the reception called us and told us that our driver had brought us the bracelet. We were extremely tired and this hotel had a lot of walking to do. We asked if he could come down to the room, and we hung up. We heard a knock at the door and we expected our driver. To our surprise it was our Butler Apong from The Edge Bali. We were in shock, the two hotels were at least 2 hours away from each other. He drove on his scooter for 2 straight hours during the night to return the bracelet. We didn’t know how to thank him enough and we felt that they treated us with all of their ability. It was a special experience and unforgettable as well. We realised that with The Edge Bali, it’s the people like Apong that makes the place so special.
We have just returned home from a 10 night stay at The Edge and all we keep thinking about is when can we book our return trip. The villas are simply spectacular- private, individual in design, homely and have everything one could want to feel rested and relaxed.
But for us, what sets The Edge apart from other places is their people. Every single staff member we met, from security, the gardeners, the staff at Oneeighty and The Seas, our drivers, front desk and of course our butler, Hendra were each so friendly, welcoming and really added that special touch that you always remember when you travel.
We simply cannot thank, Hendra and Cristian enough for everything they did for us during our stay. We travelled with our baby and so we had some extra requirements- all of which were handled with complete ease. I was able to do yoga most days, both in Ulutwatu and in our own villa with an outside teacher and my husband was taken to various beaches most days to surf. Hendra became a trusted member of our family for 10 days and went over and above to make our holiday one we will always cherish. A true professional who would be worthy of working in any top luxury resort around the world.
We ate every night either in our Villa or at The Seas restaurant. The food was always wonderful and any time we thought we should go out and have dinner outside the resort we opted to stay in as the food was always so good!
We must say a big special thanks also to; Anys, Arsa, Yobi, Supa, Rati and Imaten who all looked after us so well at The Seas and OneEighty, the drivers Budda and Soprano- thank you for the yoga drop off and picks ups!. And to the ladies in the spa- thank you for our wonderful massages.
The Edge is a very unique place- made all the more special by its people who genuinely love what they do.

Excellent villa and service from our butler. The views from this resort are superb as are gardens and grounds and the pools are fantastic. Thoroughly recommended. We only ventured out of the resort once to go to the temple which shows relaxing we found The Edge and all it had to offer.
Sensational. Stayed at The Ridge and proposed to my fiancé there. Place is incredibly well designed and built. Manager Dewa and Butler Padma amongst the best I’ve seen in the service industry.
