Perfect stay

We had a truly memorable stay at the Laguna. The hotel is gorgeous and the experience from check-in to check-out was impeccable.
We booked two lagoon-access room and the front desk staff took some effort to find us two connected rooms and they were magical. The best thing was to be able to swim home -- the huge lagoon and pool area were really a highlight of the place.
We thought the rooms were very nicely maintained despite of its age. Nothing too fancy, but everything was just right -- the bed was extremely comfortable and housekeeping did great job cleaning the room. Amenities were of very good quality and were replenished often. Turn-down service were very professionally done everyday.
All staff were kind and genuinely welcoming. Everyone smiles and greets you and service from nearly every corner of the hotel were prompt and helpful.
The beach was great with good sand and clear water -- the low tide can be a problem, and the best sun-beds were hard to get -- but those were common problems and not the hotel's fault.
I also enjoyed the sauna and 24h gym -- good equipments and service, again.
Checking out was as smooth and easy as checking in. The staff took care of everything from our luggage to the bills to transportation.
F&B were generally good but not great. That said, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and seafood BBQ by the sea.
The most impressive thing was that the staff can remember our name and room number despite that there are over 300 rooms in the hotel! Very, very few hotels can do that nowadays. And since the swimming area is so huge, it never felt crowded and you can always find your own space to relax.
The only slight problem was that the hair drier in our room didn't quite work and the service at the buffet dinner was slightly inconsistent, and we wish there could be more service staff around the pool (there are so many pools) -- but those were very small issues compared to the overall experience.
Admittedly, Nusa Dua is not the most interesting part of Bali. But if a peaceful holiday is all you need, the Laguna can be a perfect choice.

Beautiful resort with private beach
Reviewed 1 week ago

We spent 4 nights here. The pools, the garden and pavillas are beautiful and well-maintained, although the room was a little old.

The check in process took some time and we waited 2-3 hours for our luggages to be delivered. Other than that everything was perfect.

The private beach is beautiful and clean.

Very nice

Just spent 8 nights at the Luguna, and it certainly exceeded our expectations. We stayed in room 211, a quiet part of the hotel, overlooking a lovely pool, and one of the many man made lagoons that are dotted around the beautiful grounds.
Apart from the crazy price of drinks, (15 pounds for a double gin and tonic), unless you wait for social hour(they don`t call it happy hour) 6-7 and 9.30-11..00,or do as we did and bought some drink at the duty free, but don`t wait until you get to Jakarta, as there is no duty free drink there. The plus side of drinks being expensive, is there are no drunk, annoying people you get in some places.
Finding a bed in the shade was a problem, so we booked a cabana each day, a bargain at 7 pounds a half day, that includes a fruit bowl, and cold water, but you need to book them the day before, as the best ones get taken.
Overall it`s very hard to fault anything here, but if your looking for a great hotel with delicious food, in fantastic grounds, with the best staff anywhere, you wont go wrong here.We would be very happy to return.
