How to Get There
A absolute luxurious experience.
The beds are very plush and comfortable with beautiful decos
Wonderful view of the bustling square outside.
Centre of attraction and shopping and lots of interesting souvienirs
I stayed in this hotel for two nights in January. The hotel itself is stunning. It is in a quiet location in central St Petersburg. It is quite the distance from the Hermitage Museum, however the Hotel has a free shuttle.
We did not eat breakfast there as the price was absurd. Despite the ridiculous price of breakfast, the price of dinner in their Italian restaurant was far more reasonable.
The staff were very friendly and willing to help.
My husband and I stayed here for three nights. From the first minute we stepped in we knew this place was even better than it looked on pictures. They have a stunning dining area on the first floor that makes you feel like royalty. Make sure to use their offer to arrange early entrance to the Hermitage Museum. We did it and it was great!
From the airport pick up by Anton- who was friendly and very informative- to all the other staff (valet, concierge, wait staff), we were taken care of every moment in a warm and helpful way. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms very well cared for and supplied. 10 minute walk to the main avenue (Nevzky Prospekt)- We like walking, so enjoyed walking to the monuments and museums. Winter is a great time to go! The Spa's hammam, sauna, and cool spa pool were a fabulous stop after our long flight and again after a long day of tourism. It really was a special stay and I would want to go back. I miss the staff already!
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The Staff is very service minded and professional, every single contact with a member of the staff was pleasant. The staff would get a grade of *****.
The foyer is the best part of the building, very beautiful and we spent some evenings there in the sofas. Very relaxing place for some soft drinks before going to bed.
The hotel is not located in the centre of St Petersburg but a bit in the outskirts. We had walking distance to the big shopping mall Galeria which was nice. Besides that the hotel offers a shuttle to the Winter Palace and Hermitage museum.
The room service worked great. We used the Spa with the small pool and saunas which was nice. I had a massage one evening and the massage therapist made a great job. Wasnt any problems with getting an appointment the same day as the massage was requested.
The things I didnt like with the hotel was the planning of the room. We had a suite in two floors with a bathtub upstairs and the shower downstairs. I had to get up from the tub and walk downstairs to take a shower after my bath. There were a Showerhead in the bathrub but it was impossible to pull out the hose and no shower curtains. The doors to the bathroom also went inwards which made you walk around the door everytime you needed to go to the toilet. The next problem was the lack of wardrobes and drawers to put the clothes away. We had three wardrobes upstairs but could only use two since the third one was blocked by the bedside table. This could be compensated by putting up a place to open and store your suitcase but there were no such solution. We kept our suitcases open on the floor and used the wardrobe.
The hotel arranged transportation to the airport which worked great.
We would stay here again without any doubts. The staff makes the experience very good.
