Beautiful hotel!

We loved our stay at the Merchant! Beautiful and centrally located. We stayed in the Victorian wing with massively high ceilings and beautiful decor. It felt like we were in a old palace. Breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Unique Property

This was one of the most unique hotels I have ever had the pleasure to call home for two nights. Art deco meets flapper? I am not sure. but you should give it a try. Decorated to the hilt, clean to a fault impeccable service a destination unto its self.

Grand hotel

The Merchant Hotel is in a building that had been a bank . The public spaces- bar, restaurant, etc. are very grand with ultra high ceilings and beautiful decorations. We had a lovely large suite and really enjoyed it.
Service was excellent and location in the city is very convenient

Beautiful spot with many great restaurants and bars

We stayed in the Art Deco wing and were very impressed with the room. Quite simply the most beautiful bathroom I have every seen! It was a horrible weather day (welcome to Ireland) so we were delighted that there were so many gorgeous bars and restaurants right in the building! We ate at Bert's Jazz bar where there was live music, great food and an extensive cocktail list. It was cozy and relaxed and we had the best time! The breakfast is served in the Great Room Restaurant and is the most amazing room and fanciest breakfast I have ever seen! The service is amazing! There is valet parking.

Excellent!

We stayed here midweek for a special occasion in one of the deluxe Art Deco rooms which was great. We had dinner in the Great Room Restaurant and this could not be faulted. Food was delicious and service impeccable. A celebration balloon and handmade chocolates were left in the room as part of the turn down service to note the special occasion of a birthday.
The roof top hot tub gives great views over Belfast City Centre. We will definitely stay here again, many thanks
