How to Get There
We enjoyed our time at Sheraton Greensboro. Great facility, very nice staff, the room was excellent. Near restaurants and a shopping mall. One elevator was broken and caused delays getting to our room most of the weekend. The elevator issue "lowered" the score, or this would be a 5.
This hotel doesn't seem to recognize Marriott Bonvoy members. I have stayed twice here and BOTH times they didn't recognize the organization and calling back twice for a receipt. Agree that everyone has a bad day once in a while but these guys don't have it together. I'M OUT!
I was booked to stay at another hotel during market coming up but they were unable to finish that hotel. They informed us that they would try and re-book all of those people at another hotel but most everything is already sold out. There was an open spot at this hotel, which was more expensive. I begrudgingly accepted this option but asked to be compensated a free breakfast or some type of food and beverage credit. The local hotel was unwilling to help and the customer service department from Marriott only gave me a $50.00 gift card that will take 12 weeks to get. I cannot believe that a breakfast that costs a hotel $3-$5 a night is something that they cannot offer to make a customer happy. I guess I am not worth the cost of keeping...
