Wonderful service, great food, fly fishing adventure and gem mining right around the corner !
Great family centered resort and things to do.We rented a 4 bed condo which had everything we needed for 3 familys
My husband and I stayed in the Moses Cone room at the Chetola Resort and it was such a pleasant stay! While that particular room doesn't have a view, it was still so pretty and inviting with it's décor and gas fireplace. Also, there was a "pantry" where you could get bottles of water, juices, coffee and even Ben and Jerry's ice cream as you wanted it! No charge for these--included with your room! Also included with the room was the breakfast buffet, which was amazing! I definitely want to stay here again!
This is a beautiful property. The staff at the front desk could not be more professional. Very happy with our stay at this place. The property we stayed at needs a little renovating, but it is very nice, and very well equipped. We had a problem with our fireplace and they immediately send a technician to take care of it. The only LITTLE problem I saw was that since the property we stayed at is not owned by the resort, but by a private party, rented through the resort, they were not able to make a decision to replace the toaster that was only toasting one side of the bread. Not a big deal at all, but an inconvenience for the tenants. We do love the place. My family had stayed there before and several of our friends. At this there were 4 other families of friends of ours also staying at the resort. WE LOVED IT.
I recently met friends for dinner at the Bob Timberlake Resturant at Chetola. The service was fantastic and the warm cozy (fireplace going) in one of the dining rooms made for a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was awesome.
The Bob Timberlake Lodge is fantastic, keep in mind they do not allow children under 18 in that part of the Resort. You should call for details about that.
Nice town, even in the winter. They were having their annual Winterfest so quite a few people in town plus local visitors. Staying in a condo on the property. Nice, plenty of room with a fireplace. Amenities were nice. No housekeeping services thru out the stay nor was any offered.
Tried to go to their restaurant two separate nights but they were booked. Since the resort was not crowded in terms of people staying there, I assume the restaurant was busy with other non-resort visitors.
