Totally delightful!

We loved our stay at the Windsor, I can’t imagine choosing another hotel next time I find myself in Asheville.

What’s awesome? Friendly and helpful staff, truly a boutique hotel - warm, small, friendly. Perfectly appointed room included a living and dining space, full kitchen, separate bedroom, large closets, laundry. Thoughtful extras - quality bed and linens, laundry soap, ceiling fans. Room was remarkably quiet for location on a city street, unbeatable walk-to-everything location.

Other stuff: no restaurant on premise, parking is a few doors down, small bathroom, wouldn’t recommend for children ...none of these tarnished our stay in the least.

walking distance to everything downtown in style

Great hotel! You can't go wrong!

This is a great little hotel with lots of character right in downtown Asheville. Near everything! Restaurants next door, across the street, all within walking distance. Shops, everything is walkable. Very nice staff. The room is awesome. Small updated kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, washer/dryer, and a sofa bed. It was the perfect setup for us. Had a five night stay booked, which would have been pure heaven. Unfortunately, we decided to get out of North Carolina when the governor declared an Emergency due to the hurricane. The front desk was very understanding. The only thing I would probably change is ask next time for a room at the back of the hotel. We were in a room at the front on the street and for a light sleeper like me, it was too much noise at night. If you're a heavy sleeper, no problem. This is not the hotel's fault for sure. We wanted to be downtown and have easy access to everything. That's why we chose this hotel, along with the outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. It's just a matter of personal preference. We are hoping to come back again next year and have a full vacation, definitely at this wonderful Hotel. Thank you staff!

Comfort and Style in Downtown Asheville

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown Asheville, about a block and a half north of the Vance memorial at Pack Square. We could have stayed a few miles north of town at the Omni Grove Park Inn or a bit south at Biltmore Village (or even inside the Biltmore estate), but we wanted to be able to walk to all of the downtown attractions.

Our suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It had a large bedroom with a walk-in closet, a very comfortable living area and a full kitchen with a bar (with chairs) between the kitchen and the living area. And a washer and dryer. This was perfect for our week long stay.

I highly recommend this hotel if you like space and comfort (and applicances!). However, be forewarned that this hotel doesn't have any kind of view, nor does it have its own restaurant or bar. But there are plenty of those just steps away from the front door.

The best Asheville has to offer do not look any further

A perfect boutique hotel on main and main in downtown Asheville. From the moment we arrived it was a stellar performance. We were greeted by two highly efficient and good looking guys who explained the amenities and provided a calm, efficient check in. The rooms are well done with nice sheets and towels, slippers, robes and amenities. Everything was spotless and clean and we had a wonderful view from our third floor corner suite. You can walk everywhere from the hotel and even the best breakfast spot is next door and offers room service. I looked at all the other hotels and they were all second rate. Stay here it’s well worth it.
