How to Get There
This is a beautiful place to stay after a long day of travel! It sits at the foot of the entry to the Biltmore Estate and is fairly easy to get to. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable! The pool and fire pit were a nice surprise! the rooms are handy because there are kitchens. They don’t serve breakfast “yet” but it’s coming. The shower head and pressure was a bit low, but That was our only complaint. We would stay again.
I was impressed with the two-bedroom apartment we stayed In at the weekend. Very convenient location for down town Ashville and only a few minutes drive from the Biltmore Estate. The facilities in the apartment were very good, fabulous bathrooms, plenty of big fluffy towels and good kitchen facilities. We all used the pool one evening after a day around Biltmore and even tho it is a bit of s trek up to it, it was great and we tried the jacuzzi as well. We would stay there again.
Who doesn’t love Asheville? Gorgeous town. Lots to do. We only stayed in a one bedroom apartment for one night and now I would like to go back and stay for a week. Very clean, well maintained. Nice to go buy some groceries and stay for a while! Need to go back.
The magazine I work for is based half a mile away from this residence, so they put us up at this pleasant apartment-style lodging. It was large, light-filled and accommodating, especially for 3 women who had just met each other for the first time and had to stay together for a week. Two of us shared the hallway bath, and one enjoyed the large bedroom and bath for herself, which we didn't mind. The kitchen was clean and modern, the beds were comfy, and the area was peaceful. Keep in mind, since it's not a hotel, they won't change your linens or towels, and they don't make your bed. We're not high maintenance folks, so we didn't mind.
Our only precaution -- my roommate said she drove back to the hotel late one afternoon and saw a bear run by the property as she returned home. The residence is within feet of a hilly set of forested area, perfect for wildlife to pass by. They do warn you about this, but not until you've already arrived. I like to go jogging in the morning wherever I am, and did spot some weird animals in the neighborhood (including a tall long necked bird meandering down a nearby street), but fortunately never got too close.
The residences were very nice accommodations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and they’re a great location in Asheville. The pool area and fire pit and nice too. The top parking lot does fill up early at night, but most rooms are accessible by a choice of 2 parking lots. The floors were a bit thin, we could hear our upstairs neighbors walk around- luckily they were our friends in town for the same wedding. When the renovation for the lobby area is done, it will be great. The front office was a little tricky to find. It’s on the far left (facing the building) of the first parking lot you can turn into.
