How to Get There
Old world charm and elegance. A world away from city care and city life. Brings you back to nature, but still with all the luxuries of modern life. Near wonderful destinations, but enough to do on site to keep you busy. Loved it!
Beautiful hotel, facilities and staff! Excellent service overall! Will definitely be back and will recommend to families and friends! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and I travel 1-3x per week!
We didn't stay and just visited for lunch and to marvel at this stunning place and location. The history of the building is fascinating, I was in awe at the size of the boulders used to construct the jaw dropping entrance considering it was constructed in the late 1800's. The view over the lovely Appalachian Mountains is sensational, the staff lovely, the food wonderful and absolutely a must see if in Asheville. Make sure you check out the "grotto" - in door swimming pool.
This is a high class operation. Great amenities and staff. The atmosphere was rustic with modern conveniences. and The hotel was fabulous and the spa was incredible, I will definitely be back soon. We loved it.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip. It was beautiful and all decorated for Christmas in mid November. The views are unbelievable. The staff was great and had upgraded our room and sent wine and strawberries for our anniversary. The bellman gave us history on the way to our room. Sit in the lobby, (the fireplace on the left is still wood burning so try and grab a seat there) enjoy a cocktail and just relax.
