How to Get There
The hotel is convenient to the US Cellular Center with it being just a short walk. Parking can be difficult in town and this hotel does charge for parking, however they allow unlimited in and out access and will let you keep your car in the garage until 3pm following check out if you plan to stay in town and take in the sights. The rooms are comfortable and clean as you would expect from this chain. Overall a good choice if you are looking for a nice place to stay in town.
My wife and I recently concluded a 4 day visit to Asheville. We stayed at the Hotel Indigo, which was a short walk to downtown Asheville, and all it had to offer (many bars, restaurants, nightlife, and boutiques). The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed with mountain views from some. Valet parking is available for $18 per day. The lobby is equipped with services for a quick bite or drink on your way into the city. The staff was more than accommodating, providing directions, activity advice, etc. whenever we inquired. I would recommend the Hotel Indigo to anyone requiring lodging in close proximity to the downtown Asheville area.
On a stop-over in Asheville NC headed for Ocracoke Island, NC. Hotel Indigo offered easy highway access within walking distance of Bouchon, our preferred restaurant for the evening. The desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and informative about downtown attractions. The valet service was excellent. Our room was clean, very comfortable, nicely decorated, with a great bathroom & shower and gorgeous view of the mountains. It was a short walk to Bouchon. We have had 2 other stop-overs in Asheville. This was by far the best. Hotel Indigo Downtown had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Our future trips will be planned to include this well-managed hotel.
Beautiful spacious modern rooms with views of Downtown or the nearby mountain range. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Great location with walking distance of all Downtown sites. Hotel is next to Interatate with allows easy access to Biltmore and River Arts District.
I hate to write this review because the staff here are always so nice and the location is awesome.
My husband and I stayed at the Asheville Indigo this past weekend for a brief night away. I made the comment when checking in that each time I've stayed at the hotel, the fire alarm has gone off. The man checking us in said that it happens often due to people smoking in the rooms or taking too hot of showers. Well...12:30am...the fire alarm goes off. If this is a common occurrence, I cant figure out why it hasn't been fixed. It's too bad a like sleep, because like I said, the staff and location are great. The horns in the middle of the night...not so great. Also not so great --- having to march down to the lobby in your PJs while the fire department clears each floor.
