Wonderful Experience
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed in the Queen Anne Room in the Pack House building and it was just about perfect. Very spacious, very comfortable, very clean. Conveniently located for all the town sights. The daytime innkeeper was a joy. (I am embarrassed to say I have forgotten her name) Full of great information and so friendly. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Inner Banks Inn - Amazing!
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I cannot express enough my gratitude for a wonderful, albeit brief, stay at the Inner Banks Inn. My parents are in their mid-80's, in significantly declining health, and various stages of dementia, so when they mentioned that they would like to see Williamsburg, VA one last time, I thought: a. this could be the last trip I take with them so let's make it the best and b. do I really know what I am in for?

I drove from Atlanta, GA to Jekyll Island, GA and then, together, we drove to North. The overall trip was not successful; my parents could barely move about due to the VA heat and we barely saw much of Williamsburg. However, what my parents do remember is the PM mass at Bruton Parish in historic Williamsburg and....the Inner Banks Inn!

Truly, it was the highlight of their trip! The inn is gorgeous in its simplicity and in the most wonderful little town of Edenton, NC. Simple, elegant, cozy, and with the best food - what a great experience. My mother could not stop talking about her room as we were driving North.

Suffice it to say, I will be back (myself?) and I cannot wait to explore the wonderful environment of Edenton, but I will be staying longer next time. Thank you all for great visit!

Wedding Day Magic!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

It has been exactly one week since Inner Banks Inn gave me and my partner the most beautiful day of our lives, Our Wedding! From their attention to every detail for us, to the kindness of their wonderful staff, they made our day that much more enjoyable! They went over and above to accommodate us, and our friends and family. While everyone knows little things may go wrong on your Wedding Day, the wonderful people at Inner Banks took exceptional care of making our day as magical is it ever could be! The food was phenomenal, the rooms were comfortable, and the environment was so relaxing, despite the crazy hot temps that weekend! Kirstin and Kat especially hold a special place in my heart for helping me plan and coordinate every thing our hearts desired! These ladies truly took such great care of us! If you are planning a wedding, seriously, these are the best people you could ever work with! My sincere gratitude to everyone at Inner Banks for showing us such love and acceptance, and for giving us the wonderful memories that I will cherish forever!! ❤

Great Destination Wedding Venue!

Where do I start? The bedroom accommodations are comfortable, amenities over the top, privileges at the country club for saltwater pool and golf. Spa packages. 5 star restaurant on site. Breakfast was filling and delicious. Wedding venue was gorgeous. Pack House was prefect for family gatherings and welcome BBQ reception. Edenton has quaint shopping and eateries. There is a historic museum and Roanoke River Light. I love historic houses and antiques so the Inner Banks Inn was prefect for me. Oh, I can't forget the staff, from check in, wait staff, housekeeping to wedding venue, they were Great! Had a great time!

Pretty town, pretty property
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I was so excited to stay at this B&B as it has lovely rooms and the property is charming. I didn't get that I am home feeling that others have mentioned. The staff was polite and efficient, but I didn't get that welcome home vibe. They showed me to my room gave a brief run down of how to use the AC, breakfast time, and showed me the common shared space, including the need to label your food and put it into a shared common refrigerator (just like at work) and that was that. The next morning breakfast was indeed delicious served in a lovely dinning room. The room was indeed spacious and cutely decorated, but the AC unit had mold growing in the vents, as well as mold and mildew on the bath tub shower surround, fixture on tub also worked poorly. So If staff improves with more inviting demeanor and cleans up the deferred maintenance this would be a gem of a place as the town is full of friendly people and pretty sites.
