Was fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast in Edenton. Beautiful room with period furnishings, large bed, and nice amenities in the room including bathrobes. Would highly recommend as a historic home. Employees were very friendly and owner Susan is very welcoming and gracious. Highly recommend - worth the trip.

Last minute weekend getaway
Reviewed 2 days ago

My husband and I decided at the last minute to get away for the weekend and we decided to go to Edenton, NC. We looked at all the B&B’s in the area and chose the Inner Banks Inn and I am so glad we did. Amy was the one wh helped me with our last minute reservations and was very friendly and extremely helpful on deciding which room would fit our needs. Since it was going to be late when we arrived Cathleen helped us with our options of checking in and was also very friendly. We stayed at the Pack House and the room was big, very clean and very nicely decorated. The king size bed was extrmely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. The Inn was in a perfect spot close to everything. We enjoyed downtown Edenton and learning all about the history. The waterfront there is beautiful!! Susan the owner was very nice and took time to tell us all about the history of the Inn. I would highly Reccomend this place and I hope we will be able to return sometime in the future.

A visit in the winter

We spent a wonderful weekend in February at the Inner Banks Inn. Edenton is a great town to visit any time. Highly recommend the trolley ride around the town. The Inner Banks Inn is a delight. We stayed at the Pack House in such comfortable surroundings. The beds are wonderful! Each staff person was so friendly and personable. Could not have asked for more.

Who Knew?

Our first visit to Edenton was one we'll remember for a number of reasons, but the Inner Banks Inn topped the list. We stayed in the Hugh Williamson suite which was very authentic and comfortable. It felt as if we had stepped back in time to a slower, more "grand" time.

Susan B. the proprietor, spent a great deal of time with us at The Table, the Inn's adorable and delicious restaurant sharing the story of how she acquired the Inn and her plans to make it even better than today. The food was first-rate. Spices were used appropriately as to let the flavor of the dish come shining through. We had the crab cakes and scallops which were both outstanding. The crab cakes tasted very different (superior) than normal restaurant offerings and the scallops had a great sweet flavor with an excellent char on the outside.

We travel both domestically and internationally and found the Inner Banks Inn to be a very worthwhile and relaxing place to stay. We definitely will return.

Romantic visit to quaint, historic Edenton, NC.

My husband and I stayed at The Inner Banks Inn, in The Pack House. It used to be a tobacco barn! This is one of several buildings at the Inn. The room was delightfully decorated and clean, and very comfortable with all amenities. The entire building was very tastefully decorated, and had a lovely common area, and kitchen. Breakfast, which is included, was delicious with several choices. We had a delicious dinner there as well, at The Table. Staff were all helpful and very friendly. Service was impeccable! The Inn and Edenton is a place we would come back to, as a couple or with a group.
