How to Get There
The lobby, common areas, and room were very nice, comfortable, and clean. Employees were very friendly and accommodating, even with my limited Spanish. The location, across from Chapultapec Park, was nice. There was a Metro station nearby, easy to hop on the pink line to get to El Centro and the Zocolo. Quick walk to restaurants in Condesa, nice walk through the park to Polanco, and pleasant walk to Roma. I'd stay here again.
Hotels in Mexico use single pane glass with lots of hard surfaces. Trucks are loud here. To maximize your experience, unless you are hearing impaired, choose an 'inside' room, which is quiet. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff for professional, but not effusive. The efficiently do their job. The photos are quite accurate for this property. If you tire of the center city, this is a great place to stay. After a walk thru the park, you will be revived. Highly recommend and this is my second visit.
We stayed here for 6 nights and I will go back again someday! The service was amazing. The rooms and all spaces beautiful. Everyone was so helpful. The room service menu (especially the chocolate souffle!) was excellent.
We stayed for 4 nights to visit some friends in Mexico City. Location looks good at the map, but it is far from everything. Even the Chapultepec park is far, as there is no entrance near the hotel, so you need to walk the entire park outside to find an entrance.
Rooms have plenty of room, and service was great as it is on every Mexican hotel.
I wouldn't stay here again and I don't recommend.
The hotel is located in quite a busy street (but this is probably true for every hotel in Mexico City) and it will cost you about MX250 and 45 min to arrive from the airport. The kindness from the staff is amazing and they can support you to find tours or to provide you touristic information. The restaurant at the hotel is great and we used several time the room service for breakfast or dinner, and it was always outstanding. The room oriented towards the inner patio was really big and comfortable. The live piano music may be disturbing in the beginning but it did not bother us to sleep.
From the hotel you just can walk to the Castillo de Chapultepec, Zoo park or to the Museo de Antropologia, it is about 45 min nice walk through the park. There you can also take one touristic bus to visit Mexico City.
The WiFi signal at the hotel was very good, just ask for the password at the reception.
A couple of issues: The TV signal was weak, many channels were ¨snowy¨ (TV was also a bit small). There was a TV in the bathroom but with only 3 ¨functioning¨ channels, and there are not many restaurants around the hotel, so you have to take a taxi to go to Polanco or Condesa neighbourhoods for dinner.
