How to Get There
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in November and found that the lounge staff, Karen in particular, were outstanding. We actually looked forward to being in there and we were sad to say goodbye when we left! Karen did a wonderful job getting to know us and our preferences and taking care of our needs. She was so friendly and provided exceptional service. Thank you again!!
My job brought me to Mexico City for 30 days and despite being away from my home, the staff at the Marriott made me feel right at home.
The hotel and facilities are spotless. I especially liked the gym and pool.
The food was terrific at all the restaurants.
The location can't be beat. Close to great restaurants and walking distance to many museums and historical sites.
The concierge set up a balloon flight and tour of the pyramids which was fantastic.
The highlight of my stay was getting to know the staff on the 16th floor. Alfredo and Roberto were always there to greet you with a smile and ready to help you with anything you needed. It's no wonder these guys enjoy what they do and do so well with Karen leading by example.
There are many nice hotels in the Zona Rosa, but none can compare to the Marriott.
The hotel is located in excellent part, safe neighborhood of Mexico City. There are plenty of bars within a block. The Reforma has tons of kiosks selling lots of souvenirs and Mexican jewellery right outside the hotel. The room was clean and was kept clean by the maids. The beds were comfortable. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again at this hotel again and recommend staying here.
The Marriott Reforma is perfectly situated for visiting Mexico City's top tourist spots, especially if you like walking a city, and the staff are extremely helpful and on top of things - I highly recommend this hotel in the heart of the City.
We visited on the weekend of the F1 GP and also Dia de los Muertos celebrations and parade so the place was full but pretty much everything ran as clock work.
There were a couple of minor issues in the room such as light bulbs out but the biggest issue was the lack of TV channels in English or the option to change language for some channels, that is the only thing that needs changing. We did have a wonderful corner view down Reforma which was very much appreciated.
After several visits and 21 nights spent at the hotel, being SPG gold I was given what for sure was the most deplorable room of the hotel... room 405 , adapted, connecting doors, wash basin in triangular shape worse than in red light district hostels..
Also is remarkable that other 5 hotels of the marriot chain were attentive enough to provide me upgrades, ammenities based on level... not even an early check in in this one (Please refer to my Meridien CDMX review for a different level ....)
Unfortunately we are in an action/reaction world so two additional visits will be cancelled and changed to sister properties...
