Great Place to stay to experience the city

This was our first time in Mexico City. We were only in town for a weekend. The weather was not that great but this hotel made it worth it. Great location! Ivan and Alfredo were incredibly helpful. The one negative is that it is not centrally located. There are two J.W. Marriotts in the city and it is very confusing to book.

Great location with excellent service

I was in Mexico City for a business trip in Septemer and stayed here for four nights. The service is superb. The staff are professional and the room condition was excellect. It is right in the business district and in close walking distance to the Samara shoping center which has several authentic mexican restaurants to expetience as well. I enjoyed my stay!

JW Marriott's standards of quality?

The JW Marriott in Santa Fe is a nice hotel with a good location, however there are some areas that need improvement:

JW Marriott – I am writing you to provide feedback from my recent stay at JW Marriott Santa Fe:

The room I received when I checked in was an executive room on a lower floor, I should have received a Junior Suite – I was told it was based on availability. I have had the reservation for over 2 weeks so my registration was known.

The shower drain in the room would not drain and caused issues when I was trying to get ready – a less than good experience

The razor provided in the room was not sharp and caused me to go to buy new razors – an inconvenience.

Ivan Sergio Andres - great Bell staff and very helpful on the checkout and made the experience better as we left.

modern hotel with room to improve on service

stayed here on a biz trip and since i've been a marriot customer for a while, expected the normal great service for an platinum elite member. Somewhat disappointed starting with the checkin process - almost like pulling teeth getting the info on the lounge, hours and what floor it was in. The checkin staff do not volunteer much info. A couple of nights down, i ordered room service and they told it would take 30-45 mins so after an hour i called up and was reassured it was on its way. Another 20 minutes i called again and they asked what i ordered. Really?? so you lied to me when i called earlier and you said it was on its way?
after complaining, they did comp the meal and sent up a bottle of wine.

Great visit!

Facilities are good, location is excellent, personnel/staff the best. During my stay, I visited the concierge lounge almost every day. Great staff, specially Victor and Jimena (evening shift). Their professionalism and attention to detail made my stay memorable...Great Job!
