This hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean and quiet and the complimentary mini bar is nice.
However, I was very disappointed about the pricing for breakfast. On checking in we were shown a rate that did not include breakfast and this amount was blocked on my credit card.
Every morning, during breakfast, I had to sign a bill and add a tip. This gave me the impression that I was being charged for the breakfast I had. One morning we skipped breakfast as we were not feeling well. On checking out, the breakfast for this day was still on the bill and we were told it was included. I complained about this because brrakfast was listed as a seperate item on the bill, and not included.
We were told that breakfast was "compulsory" in our rate.
Also, during breakfast, bottles of water were placed on the table by the waiters with tags hanging. Water during breakfast costs extra. You have a free minibar in your room, juices, smoothies, tea and coffee for breakfast, but water costs extra. This is not expected in such an upscale hotel.
amenities were nice, room service, breakfast, all good. one thing I did not like was the room itself. The flooring was loose and potential for trip hazard. the flooring had released from the subfloor, and become soft. The Hotel itself was beautiful, just a little disappointed in the actual room. the floors were dirty in some areas around the vanity.
I was charged when sire stated I would not be charged until I arrived. I hadn’t even arrived and was charged 10/29 and my arrival date was 11/2 today is 10/31 I called to see if they would use that towards my arrival and they said that was a fee for no show. My trip wasn’t till 11/2! I would not recommend anyone to stay here. I’m a business owner and this was poor customer service. If your traveling to Mexico read the reviews!
