Great location, nice property, met my expectations

This small discreet hotel in Condesa is the perfect location close to Parque Espana, 2 grocery stores, lots of restaurants that span the culinary spectrum as well as being in small enough to enjoy the beautiful interior of the property. I recommend.

So comfortable

My husband and I had a very nice three night stay. Our room was spacious and had a small balcony. The interior space of the hotel was lovely and the breakfast service was perfect. We had wonderful restaurant recommendations from the staff and the room was very quiet. We would most definitely stay again.

Clean, secure, and ideally located

The hotel is a quiet and relaxing little oasis right in the heart of Condesa. Terrific stay in room 11 with our own little balcony. The courtyard was beautiful, very helpful staff, yummy breakfast too.

Poor communication from vendor - sadly

I had booked a deluxe room at the villa Condessa as a treat to myself for my final night in Mexico City before I fly home to the UK.

I arrived later than expected due to my flight being delayed from Los Cabos.

I arrived at the property and the owner who was very nice said that there was a water shortage and that he had booked me into a hotel round the corner called La Contessa.

I was a little perplexed due to the fact that this other hotel had water and was literally down the road from La Contessa. When I arrived at the other hotel I was shocked. It was nowhere near the calibre of the hotel Villa Condessa and it cost me £125!!!! The rooms were paper thin, bric a brac everywhere like a Mexican faulty towers! Whilst the people were nice, the hotel is awful.

I would have preferred to be warned in advance so I could make my own arrangements! I would have paid to stay at the Hilton Reforma instead!

For that, my review is on poor communication and not the property itself!

Please see pictures of the hotel that I was booked into which in no way compares to the standards that I required!

Great small hotel

We had a great 3-night stay in room #8. Such a lovely neighborhood. lots nearby though we relied on Uber for longer distances. Go to Seven Buddhas around the corner on Guadalajara when you need some veggies and healthy food. The guided tour to Teotihuacán was totally worth it.
