How to Get There
We arrived very late at night and were made very welcome here. Our room was very comfortable and a great base to come back to at the end of the day exploring CDMX. The staff were all incredibly lovely. Breakfast was a particular highlight! Overall a wonderful place to stay, we absolutely loved it. Shout out to Armando who took us on a brilliant tour of Teotihuacan, worth every peso!
We only had one night to stay in Mexico City at the tail end of a two-week trip and I'm so glad we chose Villa Condesa! I had asked them in advance to put a roll-away bed in our room for our 12-year-old son, and when we arrived we found they had actually put a real double bed in the living room of our suite for him! We were all so happy, especially him. The room was incredibly clean and pleasant. The windows looked out on greenery and the lovely restaurant below.
The place is in a wonderful area of Mexico City, but having to buzz in to come through the gate made us feel doubly safe. Once inside the gate it's like being in a sanctuary. The people working there were extremely kind (thank you Hector!) and we just wished we could stay longer. We will definitely be back!
This is a boutique hotel with stylish touches, very friendly staff and decent breakfast.
We had two different rooms; one at the start and the other at the end of our trip. Our first room was in the main building that and was smaller, but perfectly adequate as we didn’t spend much time in it. We had a different room on our return to Mexico City that was above the kitchen. This was a larger bedroom, with a sitting room annex, but the bathroom was very small and the layout of the bedroom and sitting room were not well proportioned. We actually preferred the feel of the smaller room in the main building.
The hotel is located in Condesa; a very nice area with wide quiet roads. It is fairly central in Mexico City, so a great place to base yourself.
