How to Get There
We stayed for 2 nights and will be back again in the spring. The staff are amazing, so helpful and always smiling. We dined both nights in the restaurant and the quality of the food was among the best we have ever had around the world.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Broads so there is so much to see and do.
Well done to the owners and the staff-please keep it up.
Our daughters gave us a ‘Champagne, Dinner & Breakfast ‘ stay for our Anniversary. It could not have been a better gift. The Hotel was like a family country house and the welcome and friendliness of the staff could not have been better. It felt that they were proud to be working there and their attitude to service was exemplary. Our stay started with a glass of champagne and some melt in the mouth brownies . Then there was dinner! What a menu. From the delicious bread and miso butter to the starters and onto the main course. The scallops I had as a starter were moist and flavoursome (not like pellets of rubber which has been my past experience in other establishments) and the rest of the dish - Katsu sauce, pork belly, braised pork Choi & Soya stained Quails Egg, pickled Kohirabi made it a dish that I will always remember- so good! My mains of Duck breast and accompaniments were also sublime. Unfortunately we could not eat anything else so had to reluctantly pass on the desserts.
Gives us a great excuse to return soon which we certainly will.
We have just stayed overnight for our Wedding Anniversary, having married here it is our favourite place. The food, staff, spa, are all first class. A very relaxing atmosphere of the Hotel, gardens and the waterfront grounds, we will see you very soon.
