A charming French hotel with a perfect address on the world-famous Côte d’Azur, just blocks from the beach
An inviting four-star hotel near the iconic Promenade des Anglais in Nice, Le Grimaldi exudes timeless French elegance with its romantic Belle Époque facade, classic wrought-iron balconies, interior marble staircase and welcoming Provence-style rooms. Containing two townhouses adjoined by a courtyard, this family-run hotel sits on a quiet street near the Gare de Nice-Ville train station.
Le Grimaldi boasts an excellent location, mere blocks from the beach and the seafront promenade. You won’t need to stroll far for classic French cafés, lovely boutiques and the popular Old Town. You’re also close to the city’s attractive main square, Place Massena, where you’ll find the famous Galleries Lafayette selling chic labels. Meanwhile, a fifteen-minute walk away, Nice’s famous Cours Saleya market provides a different kind of shopping experience. Split between flower and food stalls, it attracts people from miles around. Be sure to check it out on a Monday, when it becomes an antiques market.

Please note that a city tax of €1.50 per person, per night is payable directly to the hotel upon check-out.
Superior rooms are decorated in a Provençal style, with soft, bright tones and classic wrought-iron bed frames. The rooms range from 270-370 square feet and feature queen-sized beds.
There is a continental breakfast buffet (that the French always get right) available from 7-10am. We recommend heading to one of the two large salons for afternoon tea, and an ice cream bar is open from 2-7pm. For other meals, the area around the hotel offers an abundance of tempting Provençal restaurants in the neighboring streets.
Situated just a five-minute walk from both the beach and the central railway station, Le Grimaldi sits on the quiet street which it was named after – Rue Grimaldi. Keep walking a few more minutes and you'll be in Nice's popular Old Town, full of cafés, restaurants, boutiques and bars.
