How to Get There
I was fortunate enough to find a room here on hotel tonight last minute on a Friday evening. I had one night stay set up but after taking in the peace and quiet along with the vast landscape I felt compelled to treat myself. The one unfortunate event was a hot water issue in the bathroom. The front desk immediately accommodated me with a new and better room w a tree top view that was just what I needed. The staff was all welcoming and attentive. Heather and Krystal were Informative about the properties many amenities. One of is a HIKIING TRAIL. Outside a hotel! So cool. It’s not top notch but ITS CLEAN AND QUIET. They have space for any size event. Even a retreat house would be perfect here.Could make it a spa too. Check it out for yourself!
It’s an enormous conference complex. Feels a bit like a school. Has a good gym and a big pool ( it wasn’t very warm and the jacuzzi was not working )
Food is ok. Rooms are ok. No fridge. Needs a bit of updating. If you just staying for 1-2 nights it’s ok.
Surroundings are lovely. Not a far drive to a big shopping mall. It’s ok but wouldn’t recommend a long stay.
We recently stayed at the hotel for an overnight trip. We were disappointed to find that both the bar and jacuzzi were closed during our stay. However, Heather (who was working at the front desk) was a godsend. She went above and beyond to make suggestions based on our appetite of local dining and bar options. At one point during our stay our hotel key stopped working and Heather came herself to let us in without us having to come back to the front desk. She seemed genuinely happy to assist in any way and for that reason we will definitely be back.
We were traveling from SWFL and had been dodging storms, we were pulling a 12 ft cargo trailer and it was dark and dipped below freezing. We couldn't find Tappan Zee Bridge and were completely exhausted. Asked Siri closest hotel and this one came up. Even though we were a mile away, we were sliding on ice with the trailer. The woman who answered the phone Heather, picked up on our stress level! She gave good directions, she clearly is an asset to this establishment! When we arrived she took the time to talk to me, not like I was another sale, but compassionate and caring. You need someone that has people skills and she clearly fit the bill and then some! She was also there in the morning when we checked out. She offered to print us directions to get us on the right path. We did not really have interaction with any other staff, and did not need to as Heather was very accommodating. The bed was comfy and the bath tub was a welcome relief to a long stressful day. Overall it was a good experience and we owe it all to when we were greeted by Heather! Any hotel would be lucky to have her! Thank you Heather, we are home safely.
We were at HNA to attend a wedding nearby. Upon arriving at the conference center, one is struck by the beautiful grounds. Expansive woods and flowing streams cover the conference center area.
The main building is also very nice with a sleek modern look. Based on our initial part of the stay, it can as a surprise that our room was in desperate need of updating. No, we are not talking about an opinion on style. The counter/desk was clearly worn. Yes, the room was clean, but to earn 5 stars, the rooms need to receive better care.
