How to Get There
Stayed here for 4 days for a work conference. The staff were amazing and the food was really good. In addition, the scenery is beautiful, the walking trails are quiet, and there is original artwork scattered throughout the center.
The executive BC is a perfect place to escape from the big city. It is a great spot to and discover the parks nearby if you love to be outside. Been here to join the GFNY race and must say the staff is very helpful to get things sorted out. I have no opinion on the business related services. What the team could do to excel more is offering a taxi shuttle to the closest airports. In case the centre wants to attrack oversees guest it could improve on the breakfast. For the rest I enjoyed my 2 days visit.
I recently visited HNA with my colleagues from work, for our annual staff retreat. HNA is nice and quiet with beautiful scenic views. What I loved the most was the hospitality of a staff member named Krystal. From the moment she greeted me at the front desk and assisted me with checking in, all the way until I left, she was always kind. She took the time to give me different options of things to do in the area. When I needed additional assistance, I called from my room and she gave me directions and even printed out turn by turn directions for me. Way to go HNA, and thank you to Krystal for going above and beyond.
Recently spent one night at the Palisades Conference Center while on a trip with the Smithsonian Associates. The meeting room the group used one night was top notch, modern and with theatre style desk seating. My room was shabby and poorly in need of touch ups like new carpeting, new wood (for the divider between the bed and bathroom) and the outside of the a/c unit was coated with mildew--not good for someone with allergies or really for anyone. The food was o.k. and nothing special; the staff in the dining room were friendly. If I'm ever in the area again I won't stay at the Palisades Conference Center.
I travel to this area often and have stayed in hotels in the surrounding area. None compares to Dolce. Set back across from the entrance to Tallman Mountain State Park, it is a unique property, almost like being in a nature preserve. The staff, from Mamsa and Anu at the front dest to Gloria and Ramon in the dining area, are welcoming and attentive. The architecture is streamlined and timeless. For unwinding, there are indoor courts for basketball and racquetball, a 5 lane lap pool and hot tub, and an exercise room. There is a pool table in the lounge, which has huge windows that look out into a forested area. The hotel area has rooms with queen beds only. Looking forward to staying there again!
