Horrendous
Reviewed 3 days ago

My stay was horrendous . First when I got to the check in there was only person working while the other person was hanging out second they put me in room 1706 and when I got there and got comfortable I had a family walk in while I was half naked telling that it there room I go downstairs and the guy who had dread locks gave me a different room then I went to the restaurant the sever didn’t even introduce himself he sent busboy to take my order who barely spoke English and then came only when it was time for the check because he was flirting with the Russian women who he sat and talked to. Yet I still had to tip him . Then while I was going to check out I had Lucrecia who was the manager on duty and when I told what happened she did nothing she said that she would have to talk to the dreadlocks guy before she does anything for like take of the valet charge or the the horrible restaurant charge. Plus the dread lock guy said that he would discount the room but Lucrecia wouldn’t do it because she doesn’t know how much I paid even though he told me how I paid. Like I said horrendous experience I am never coming back to this hotel again

Absolutely Terrible and Gross

We were told the room would be an upgrade with a terrace. Room was not clean and mattress was stained. Found a Corona cap in the bed. Front desk agents extremely unfriendly. We will never be back. I will never recommend Culb Quarters hotel or any hotel owned by this company (World Center Hotel).

Great stay!

The location is teriffic. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The gym was first rate with a good variety of machines, that enabled me to complete my normal workout. The hotel is a super value!

Solid Property Near WTC
Reviewed 1 week ago

I was doing business in NYC at the WTC. This property is very near that area. I stayed for two days. I got a good rate on Hotels.com, and it was a good value for the money. It is not the Taj Mahal by any stretch, but it was clean. reasonably-priced and close to where I needed to be.The room was spacious, for an NYC location. In NYC, I am used to having to climb over the bed to get to the window! This room also had a GREAT view of the WTC Tower (It was on the South Side of the tower), and the room had a King, with a small desk area, a more than usable closet, and a good-sized bath, with plenty of hot water. While I was there alone of business, this room would be more than comfortable for 2 people. There was a handy filtered/chilled water dispenser in the hallway, with bottles you could fill. That was awesome, as I didn't have to fork over $2 for a Poland Spring on the street. Also, there was an ice machine and a vending machine on my floor. There was a coffee machine in the lobby, as well as a Keurig in the room. There was a good amount of restaurants nearby, both take out and stay in.Overall, this is a good hotel for business or for a little vacation in the city. If you keep your expectations in check, you will be happy here. (Again, it's not the W...THAT is across the street, and it charges about $400 more a night). I would recommend it, and stay here again.

You spoiled us for all other hotels! LOL

I LOVE this hotel. I liked everything I saw on TripAdvisor before I booked, then contacted the manager and she was very friendly. Krystin is the best. She answered all my questions and helped me select a room that my son and I fell in love with. I can't say enough about this hotel. We went for the view- which was pretty spectacular. But ended up loving so much more about this hotel including overall friendly service, remarkable comfortable and clean hotel room and even the lounge downstairs. Hopefully we'll get a chance to stay again in the future.

I say you spoiled us for other hotels because now all my son asks for is this hotel. I swear. Nothing is gonna compare now that he's had this. LOL
