How to Get There
Very nice room, like the small kitchenette. Next to 9/11 Memorial and we walked to Battery Park to catch Ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
The staff is very helpful, when the laundry room was unavailable Mike G. and Elvin washed our clothes in the hotel laundry room and then delivered them to our room. Pull out bed wasn’t comfortable at all. Very uncomfortable. Overall pleasant experience.
Very clean, I like the option of not changing bed clothes and towels every day. Having a refrigerator, microwave and mini kitchenette is very nice. I've stayed here before and will stay here again. Close to the 9/11 memorial and many other sights.
This hotel has amazing views of the world one tower and the World Trade Center site. It also has beautiful sunsets amazing city views and it close to subways and local eats. We loved the location and a lot of the restaurants close by. They have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby all day as well as granola bars and fruit in the morning and snacks in the afternoon until 8pm. They have a free wine hour from 5-6pm everyday (we never made it to because we were out exploring). The view from the 20th floor is exceptional. Beautiful views of the Trade Center pools as well as sunsets. Rooms were good size as well. My only negative is the picture we saw on the website was not really accurate to the room we received and my mom was give a single pullout chair to sleep on instead of a pullout bed. The staff were generally helpful with only one staff being rude when I phoned down about our room not being what I believed we booked. Would still highly recommend, just make sure you call and confirm if you are planning to have more than two people in your room so you don’t end up in a similar situation.
Stayed here at the World Centre for 4 nights checking out today, we can’t fault it. Stayed in room 1210 small but adequate. Had a balcony but was only accessible from the adjacent room which was disappointing.
Free coffee, fruit and canned soft drinks etc in the downstairs lounge . Every floor has reusable bottles and a cold water machine. A few doors from us on the 12th floor is the free to use laundry with detergent & dryers. Staff are very helpful and informative. Twin towers memorial is 100 yards away with the underground a further 200 yards. $12 for 2 people sees you have 4 journeys that gets you and the Mrs there and back any day anywhere in New York. Took an Uber from Bloomingdales to the hotel yesterday $14. Overall try to get a high room the views are amazing, the bar and outside restaurant on the 20th floor is great expensive but great. Would come back if in New York.
My room had great views of the city and 911 memorial, yet was quiet and had a very nice terrace. I thought the price was great for the location. The hotel is walking distance to a Target and Whole Foods (supplies and goodies for the room) and nice restaurants. I have no complaints.
