Not what I expected

Stayed at the Waldorf on my first time in New York for 5nights my first impression fell flat at reception it was as if we didn’t fit in and couldn’t afford this well known hotel our room wasn’t great crack in the sink and had to send for a plumber as toilet didn’t work I felt we were given this room out of “who are these people”and reception couldn’t care less about us we made the best of it.

Lovely stay in an iconic hotel. Great location

We loved our stay at the Waldorf! We were celebrating my husbands 40th Birthday and when we first arrived, we were out in a room near a noisy lift. After discussing our disappointment with the Manager, we were then upgraded to a lovely suite for the remainder of our stay and we couldn’t be happier. We had a great view over the city and a huge room which was beautifully decorated with some original vintage pieces in keeping with the style of the property.
The service at the Waldorf was of a very high standard and we will absolutely be sure to return when next in New York.
Thank You Waldorf for such a wonderful experience!

Luxurious Waldorf!

The Waldorf Astoria felt very luxurious. Our stay was quite some time ago and thankfully before the renovations began. We spent quite some time just walking around the hotel in awe, it was beautiful! An amazing experience that I am happy to have had, but not certain I would need it again. Our room felt of opulence and it was so wonderful after a long day of sight seeing. We don’t tend to spend much time in our rooms when we are vacationing and that is the only reason I probably wouldn’t stay again. If we planned to sleep in and relax I would definitely stay here for extended visits! The staff is wonderful and the historic significance of the hotel itself is nothing shy of amazing! Stay here at least once if you are in NY if it reopens! We stayed in 2016 and I still vividly remember the experience!
