How to Get There
Situated in residential area top of Upper East Side right next to Q Line Subway. Ideal location for exploring. Rented a huge 3 bed apartment on 29th floor with spectacular views over East River & Downtown Manhattan. Yes fixtures & fittings a bit tired but linen, towels & all equipment good quality. Full range of kitchen appliances if needed & daily housekeeping. Lovely local restaurants. A perfect trip.
The accommodations were comfortable and quiet despite the busy location. Subway station and plenty of restaurants nearby. Convenient proximity to Mt. Sinai hospital at a reasonable price. Would love to return to this establishment especially as it is close to Central Park.
This was our second of 2 week long stays at the Marmara. This is a good family choice with lots of space and light for a Manhattan hotel. Amenities include a Q line subway station just outside, a washer/dryer in our 2 bedroom apt, a less touristy NYC neighborhood, a grocery store down the street, proximity to the Met and Guggenheim museums, and some interesting eating choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators were sometimes slow during the day as they are shared with the staff. The interior is dated and could use a refresh, but that's an acceptable tradeoff for the price.
