Last week, 5th of February I checked in at The Gallivant till 12th, and I can say without any doubt, this was the worst experience I had in a hotel. For different reasons and not only one. First, when we arrived, we had no hot water, we waited like 40min for someone to come to try fix that. Couple days later, same thing. No hot water and they told us: “this is an old building, so you just need to let the water run”. What the heck?? What kind of hotel say this? Second, the room we stayed, is not shown in any hotel company, and worse, not even in your website. Third, the noise. I was in the 14th floor, and I could hear literally anything from the streets. People talking, ambulance, party’s, music, etc. Forth, people at the reception are not very nice. NEVER asked once if it’s everything fine, if we needed anything. During the check out, the lady who was working, was very unfriendly and rude. She was talking so quiet, and once again, didn't even ask if we enjoyed. Never looked at me in the eyes. Fifth, when I checked in, I payed 68$ tax, and I asked the gentleman on the reception if we were going to charged more. He said “No”. After a couple of days, I had less 52$ in my account. This was a terrible experience. 7 nights I stayed in this hotel for like 100$ a night. This building is not how you guys show in the pictures, is nothing like it. The only one good thing about all of this, was the house keeping staff. Very funny and friendly. The rest, very disappointed. What a waste of money. I work in hospitality, and I never across nothing like this. Xavier Gomes, room 1400.…
