How to Get There
Excellent hotel with super location right next to the Meseum of Natural History, on the western edge of central park. Convenient to 2 subway stations. Lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is older but well maintained. It has larger units with living room, larger than what's commonly available in Manhattan.
Comfortable clean room with lovely view towards Central Park.
Good bathroom facilities with pleasant soaps, lotions and shampoo etc
Ideally placed for sightseeing with various cafes and restaurants nearby.
This hotel is a little jewel box directly across from Central Park and The American Museum of Natural History. Great location for restaurants and catching the bus. Rooms were large for NYC, and we had a pull out sofa, which made for a third bed. Nice Mexican restaurant attached to the lobby for drinks and food.
We only stayed one night due to a change of plans with flights. It’s a little dated but has a classic feel not a “you need to renovate feel”. The staff are very helpful. Check in is easy and it is a great location for the American museum of Natural history and Central Park. Definitely worth a stay here.
Booked hotel through Hotwire. Cost was $290 a night. Great price for three women on a sightseeing trip. Scott Masterangelo was at front desk. He was a great rep of hotel. The hotel is just across the street from CP. The subway is a short block away. Wonderful and inexpensive places to eat.Room was comfortable and we had a balcony.
