The Jury Is Still Out On This One

Initially booked this hotel because we were going to bring our full baby. Plans changed at the last minute it was too late to cancel. The staff was pleasant. A big shocker when we stepped into our room. It's very small and the bed was the smallest king we've ever slept on. A stones throw away is the bathroom with a nice barn door for privacy. The shower was very nice with shampoo - bodywash amenities.

Be prepared, the streets roll up before midnight so if you want to step out into the scene and get something to eat, you'll be sorely disappointed. You MAY find pizza.

Checkout was fairly easy and they were nice to extend our checkout time. We used the Meyers parking garage across the street which was very nice. For oversized SUV be prepared to pay around $70.00.

Overpriced and gimmicky

"Best in class" athletic studio doesn't have a barbell
"Fast" internet = 480 Kbps (in the lobby, it was better in the room)
"Better city view" from the top floor was extremely mediocre
Nice and clean, and we did enjoy the ping-pong table in the game room. Excellent location, right net to Penn Station.
Overall not worth it, would not book here again.

Central location, innovative design, friendly staff, clean room

Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Times Square, about 5 minutes from Madison Square Garden, however did not overly suffer from street noise. Hotel staff were friendly - hotel seems pretty new, and the design is really interesting. There's a leisure room, with ping-pong table and fussball table, as well as a very well equipped gym. The room also has an exercise ball, two exercise cubes, and a bar which can be used with the elastic bands supplied. There's also a folder with exercise routines you can follow, as well as videos of how to use the equipment when you switch on the phone. Exercise clothes will be laundered for free.
We didn't eat in the hotel, but did have a drink in the bar one night. Barman very friendly, drinks not ridiculously expensive, and measures were generous.

Excellent boutique hotel, great location

We stayed here for 6 nights in September and were very happy. Good space in room, great modern decor with very good quality fittings and linen, spotlessly clean, good size bathroom and shower. The room was not at all cramped with a great king size, very comfortable bed, and an exercise station complete with pilates ball! There was space in the room for a pull out desk, a quiet fridge, coffee making equipment etc. Excellent wifi. The location 35th St/8th Ave is close to a subway entrance and an easy walk from Penn Station. Also close to the High Line and buses uptown and downtown. We walked several times to the Broadway/ theatre district. Breakfast was not included in our package but we bought breakfast twice. Once you do a bit of investigation it is close to some great local restaurants up 9th Avenue. The staff were great. Our room was on the 14th floor and overlooked the street with not much of a view but hey, it’s 35th street, and the double glazing was very good. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Stayed for a week with my daughter. Staff were welcoming and helpful in recommending coffee shops (madman coffee on 35th) and restaurants (best bagels and liberty bagels) for breakfast. Room was fair in size and clean although I dont see how more than 2 persons can be in the room at the same time. Mattresses were great the room was a quite one in the 14th floor and we slept soundly. The shower was large and worked fine as did the AC. Location was super. Close to everything with MSG PENN anf Macy's being 2blocks away. Shopping on 34th was also close by as wss thw empire state building. Timr square is 12 minutes away and port authority 7 minutes away. There is a subway station on the corner less than 50meters away. The hotels theme is wellness and indeed there is a large gym and there are also a few gadgets in the room though those are not so practical for the lack of adequate space for working out in the room. Overall, great stay definitely recommend.
